Shower drain plugged up, bathroom vent and ac extremely dusty.

Amazing! The desk clerk Gwen was absolutely hospitable! I recommend this establishment!

There was no outlets by sink or mirrors at all. Microwave could not even have a plugin on the wall. One of the clean towels had hair shavings all over it... were the linens even washed then? Pool and hot tub out of commission. No forewarning of this either. There is no elevator in the building to get to 2nd floor. They had luggage carts, but no elevator.

Made reservations a month ahead of time specifically for the pool as my daughter wanted a pool party for her birthday. Drove 4 hours, checked in and went to our poolside room. Looked out the glass door toward the pool from the room only to find out the pool was closed for maintenance (no water in it). Had to split up family and those of us with kids had to get a room at a different hotel with pool for almost double the price as it was last minute. For their credit the ramkota was supposed to cancel our rooms with no cancellation fee, however I have my doubts that this will happen since the room was booked through Expedia and getting a room cancelled with them is a huge pain as you can’t just talk to a real person to explain the situation.

The place was "okay" but there were a lot of gotchas. Firstly, their pool area was closed without explanation for a month. Something that was disclosed upfront and had no affect on the cost.
Secondly, they have an indoor courtyard right outside our rooms with giant bright lights that shined in all night long. Despite a poor covering over the door, the light shown right onto the bed.
then, the light/fan in the bathroom was hanging off the ceiling by electrical wires. Certainly not safe. Finally, there was absolutely no table in the room. Seemed odd not to have a simple table upon which to work.

I’ve always like the Ramkota. It did not disappoint. Stairway/hallway needed a vacuum but that is all. Great stay!

The access to the path along the river is awesome. Beautiful grounds. Quiet and feel safe walking my dog when needs to go out in middle of night.

It had been a few years since I’d stayed here, was very pleasantly impressed on the comfort of my room still being a great stay!

My room was clean and in good order, but it faced onto the interior lobby. The blinds on the glass door and window let in a lot of light, making it hard to sleep.

I've stayed at this hotel before. It's older but comfortable. This trip the hotel was understaffed. I picked it for the pool. It was closed. Our room didn't have hot water. We moved to another. It smelled like smoke. We moved to another. Because of the moves we lost a swimsuit and pillow. The staff was kind but overworked.

No desk in the room, had to use the ironing board for a desk. Pool was closed, restaurant was closed. Otherwise, it was ok. The bar served food.

I enjoyed my stay except for one thing. There was no bath mat or anything to prevent slipping in the bath tub while showering. I almost slipped and fell. It was kinda scary. Other than that everything was fine.

The issues we had are only temporary for this hotel and will be resolved in the near future. Currently, the bridge is under construction immediately in front of the hotel, and the restaurant in the hotel is closed. For us, it meant we had to go out to find a restaurant to eat at, but the staff said they are trying to reopen the hotel restaurant if they can get more people into the hotel for higher demand. There is low demand right now because of construction and they are doing some minor remodeling, both of which will be done and the restaurant will reopen again.

The trip did not start out great at all when we arrived at the hotel to find out that the area we have sat in for years as a general seating area (we have a large group so sitting in a room is not possible and there wasn’t enough chairs in the pull area) now had to be rented out for $200 (even to just get some chairs to sit on) and even if we wanted to rent it out we couldn’t because we didn’t give them advance notice. The front desk gal was absolutely rude and unwilling to help. It took a maintenance man to get permission for us to use the area in which they had no problems with so it was very frustrating that a maintenance man could help us more than the front desk staff . Then we ended our trip with the cleaning staff barging through the door at 9:30 in the morning without knocking to start cleaning our room which we hadn’t left yet. We went down for breakfast and came back and they had already stripped the sheets off of our bed.
