the location to the beach was great. room was always clean. staff was very friendly and helpful. location of hotel did not have much within walking distance and that was disappointing. check in was 4pm but our room was not ready until 5pm which was our only real disappointment.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They even had some fun banter with guests and seemed to take your comfort and happiness as a personal goal. The pool, hot tub, and private tanning area were always clean. The valet people were very friendly and could retrieve your vehicle pretty fast. The area offers a lot of options if you are willing to drive about 30 minutes in any direction. The butterfly habitat and the flamingo botanical garden were amazing visits. There are not many eateries within walking distance besides the ones attached to the hotel’s along the beach but a wide range of options are a short ride away. Kaluz was a very nice high end restaurant. Rock bar was along the beach in the party area a little way away…so at Residence Inn you are in a nice family place but a party is within reach if that fits for you. Don’t pass on Ruby’s pizza at the end of the strip. From New Jersey / New York we are very strict about judging our pizzas. Ruby’s measured up nicely. Overall it was a very positive stay and we would do it again.

Pros: private beach, included breakfast, large room Cons: valet park only 34$, beach chairs 45$, near impossible to find a table for breakfast as you eat in tiny lobby I think there are better places to book instead of this hotel

The location was truly beautiful...with access to the beach daily...just had some problems with hot water working in each bathroom, the staff was very helpful, and courteous.

This is an old hotel. We paid $500 for hotel for 2 days. Parking was not included so it ended up being $100 with tips and taxes. We got a partial view waterfront view and that was beautiful. The highlight of the trip. Breakfast was okay - no pancakes or waffles. The room was nice and spacey, although it was old. It smelled old. The in-room washer dryer was a nice touch. Overall not worth the price, but I'm grateful we got to see Pompano and drive around south florida.

Great service. Very clean. They would text occasionally to make sure too and make sure you didn’t need anything else. Bed was comfortable and the room was huge. The hot tub was perfect and the pool was warm. Strong drinks and beautiful view. The view from the room was lovely. It said partial view, but the 3 large windows I thought gave a full view. Will definitely stay here again.

Our visit at the Residence Inn was amazing. We walked every day, enjoyed the beach and so many fantastic restaurants. The people at the Residence Inn were wonderful.

Absolutely will be staying here again! For an oceanfront property, it's really nice and very well kept. Rooms are fairly updated and very clean. Staff is overall very nice and accommodating. You have to valet your car (no self-park option) and it is $32/night, so that adds up, but it's a very beautiful, oceanfront property with a lot of perks. I cannot wait to come back!

We were given room in back with NO ocean view at an oceanfront expensive reservation. No balcony. Very basic for hi price. Sushi Lab restaurant hideously expensive be. I just came same day from Tokyo. This place had 3 Michigan star pricing for average food and drink

The hotel room was great, and the staff was amazing. The pool wasn’t open and the Wi-Fi was down. I chose this location for the pool and poolside bar so that was disappointing.

We enjoyed the room and loved the balcony. We didn't use the pool or outdoor area because it was so windy while we were there.

There was a bug infestation in the kitchen area. When reported to the hotel staff, it was suggested that we get some bug spray and have it "investigated" the next morning. The washing machines in both of our rooms were moldy and rusted. We were unable to use them. The water in the bathroom sink had low pressure and took several minutes to warm.

Staff was super helpful & friendly, loved the close proximity to beach entrance, breakfast was amazing…, but the required valet parking cost plus having to tip on pick and return is expensive and not necessary.

It was kept immaculately clean. The staff there was absolutely the BEST!!! Very friendly, courteous, helpful!! Shout out to Sam and his most excellent team!!! I truly enjoyed my stay at the Residence Inn Pompano Beach. I would definitely recommend it and would love to stay there again!!!

Left this hotel a day earlier around noon and still got charged full amount for the night. The Hotel needs updating of the rooms and property. It definitely needs Happy Hour, Live Music and bigger food menu. We will not be back.

First off I wanna say most of the staff was exceptionally great! That being said, this property is extremely disappointing. It’s very very old. It smells moldy and the carpet is disgusting. The shower is old and mildewed. The shower head is nasty and hardly works sometimes. I’m sorry. I’m an easy person. But I wouldn’t stay here at 50 bucks a night. Let alone at what they usually charge. It’s a motel 6 level experience.
