Loud, not sound proof. No room clean over the week. Beat up room bed and furnature. Livable for a day with low expectations.

The Hotel and staff were friendly. Neighborhood not so great. Lots of noise and traffic by the scary locals and police presents.

The area doesn't have the best reputation but this hotel's rooms are brand new and very very clean. In this price range it is the best in the city by far and I will definitely stay again.

They billed me for a room booked at a different hotel that was closed Which is illegal. The staff promised me they wouldn't bill me then billed me anyway and refused to refund me. I would not recommend these scam artists. Drug addicts surrounding the entire hotel

The hotel is new and clean. The hotel security is very good. The area around the property is very sketchy but the hotel staff keep the property and our vehicles safe. The hotel staff are very professional, friendly, helpful and they ensure our safety. I could stay at the Coast next door for $40 more but I return to the Econolodge because the staff foster customer loyalty. I am a solo female traveller.

Sink would not drain the sheets and towels were stained could not change tv Chanels without pointing remote under the tv and they charged me $1.00 for water at vending machine one night then next night charged $2.00 per water and would not take change they said they could not accept that(thought money was money)

We arrived, TV wasn’t working no cable box and only 1 battery in remote, frig wasn’t working, 2 lotions 1 conditioner no shampoo, no code for wifi. Next morning after visiting the office, employee brought 2 batteries still no cable box was going to come back as soon as we took our dog for a walk. Husband Took dog for walk for an hour and a half walk still no one to get the tv working nor fix the frig. Left for 2 hours asked them to have everything fixed when we got back. Got back tv working frig still not working we checked to see if it was plugged in but it wasn’t had to move furniture to plug it in turned it on finally able to cool some drinks. Left the next morning we’ll never never go back and couldn’t recommend this place to anyone even and enemy!

We chose this place, because it was close to the hospital, it was cost effective, and looked recently renovated. When we got to the property, the cab driver wouldn't even roll the window down as an older lady approached him. I then asked if the area was safe and he said it was “sketchy” Front desk was friendly. The room seemed clean and updated. There was a lot of noise late at night, people coming in and out of rooms and a lot of banging. There are a lot of (I assume) homeless, under the influence individuals just outside the property. We had this booked for 2 nights, but fled early next day. Unfortunately we were not able to get a refund for the second night, but lesson learned!

They have a very expensive pet policy. And they charge PER pet PER night. There was still tape around everything they had painted. Broken / no light switch / outlet covers. Air conditioner leaked all over carpet. Missing light bulbs in the livingroom and bathroom. Toilet didn’t flush and I told front desk she said someone would look at it, no one did. I was there 3 days with no toilet. Giant hole in the bathroom door. No available outlet to plug phone in. the neighbor is dirty and scary. Cops in the parking lot first thing in the morning.

When it comes down to decent and affordable places to stay in PG, the Econo Lodge is one of the better options out there. The room was relatively clean (there were somethings that could be better cleaned such as the TV remote and the hair dryer) and was welcoming, the staff were kind and accommodating. The location is in the heart of downtown PG and is in close proximity to many things. The price is simply unbeatable for the accommodations though. Overall I would give it a 7.2/10.
