Perfect location for a long weekend stay. So close to the trams and Southern cross station. Denis and the team were very welcoming.
The shower with 2 different taps was a bit temperamental but that’s the only complaint.

I stayed here during a business trip to Melbourne, and it turned out to be an excellent choice.
Location – 5/5
As my main destination was the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC), the location was ideal. The hotel is also within easy walking distance of many of Melbourne's main attractions, including Flinders Street Station and Queen Victoria Market. If you don't fancy walking, the free tram zone makes getting around the city centre incredibly convenient.
Hotel – 4.5/5
The building has a bit of age to it, which shows in places, but it is well maintained, clean, and peaceful. One thing to note is that rooms overlooking the Metro railway can be a little noisy, so it may be worth requesting a room on the opposite side if you're a light sleeper.
Staff – 5/5
Every member of staff I encountered was genuinely warm, welcoming, and happy to help. Their friendliness made the stay even more enjoyable.
Would I stay again?
Absolutely. Without hesitation—150%. If I'm back in Melbourne, this will be one of the first places I look to book.
