Stayed in one of the chalets and it was perfect for the time I was there, the room was big enough although they're wasn't much room to put clothes (for those who don't like living out of a suitcase). The only night there was a bit of noise was the Saturday. Located in a good area that has shops nearby and tram links minutes away. The only negatives I had were that there was no "do not disturb" sign to put on for maid service if you stay in and that the breakfast whilst adequate was not worth the charge. Perfect for a few days in the city.

We stayed 3 nights in 304 (quiet room facing the cute little garden) - we had a wonderful stay .The room was clean and spacious. It was great to have a coffee machine, kettle and free cold bottles of water. The room also had an iron + ironing board. The few stairs from the tiny elevator to the room were not a problem.
The area around the hotel offers a good variety of restarants, cafés and pubs (we recommend coffee at Uncommon and dinner at Gertrude or George). You can walk to everything, but there is also public transportation just around the corner.
Staff was super friendly.
We will return.

Very nice hotel to visit Amsterdam, well located to walk around the city. The room was clean and big enough for two persons. Hotel staff was nice.

My 1-night stay in Amsterdam was due to a very long layover, I picked this hotel for its close proximity walking to Van Gogh Museum. Had a very good night's sleep because mattress happened to be just how I like it.

The room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Heater and AC work great. The room and bathroom were quite spacious. Our room was on the third floor. The view out into the street was nice. The only thing I would watch out for is carrying your bags. There is an elevator, but there's an extra set of stairs after the elevator up to your room. Staff is more than willing to help out with this though.

It is very close to the museums and 35 to 45 minutes walk from the red light district and to Amsterdam central, my room was not so good because of a pipe running thru making a lot of noise and making it difficult to sleep but I suppose i got the rebate room :/ 312

I stayed for four nights with a friend. We had a quiet courtyard facing room. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and gave great recommendations of things to do nearby. It is very close to tram stops and was easy to get to from the central station and airport. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Would stay here again if I ever get back to Amsterdam.

The hotel staff are extremely helpful and friendly! The location is excellent…close to restaurants and cafes and the open garden area of the hotel is lovely. A great choice!

Our room was on the ground floor off the garden, which was very quiet despite being on a busy street. Clean, comfortable rooms, excellent service. Sadly, we did not get to enjoy the garden, as it was raining for most of our stay, but the hotel also had loaner umbrellas. The only drawback was how dark the room was - only one tiny window next to the door. Close to Vondel Park and short walk to the museum district.

Small dark room, bed comfy, air con when switched on leaked constantly. There was a lift but then set of stairs to room. Ok stay. Would not recommend to friends if they were to travel to Amsterdam.

The guy who checked us in was awesome and so were housekeeping staff. Clean rooms and bathrooms. The only negative is when you get to your floor in the small elevator then you still have to go up or down treacherously narrow stairs to get to your room which is not easy to juggle with bags.

Great location, friendly staff. Was disappointed to have a coffee machine instead of a kettle as the water had coffee granules in it and the complementary bottled water was not replenished each day. The pillows were huge and would have liked different pillows to choose from however the bed was very comfortable. Overall the stay was enjoyable and would stay again.

Elevator did not work
Elevator was sooo small
Allot of stairs in the floor. Not safe or easy to get to the room. With luggage it’s impossible.

Really good hotel, the rooms are small but well organized, good toiletries, location is great, close to the park and museums and still at walking distance from the centre - but not on the busiest part. Staff is very kind, very comfortable too. Definitely recommended.

Easy walking distance to most of the major sites. The staff went above expectation and were friendly and helpful. Robert at the front desk even helped me gift my guitar to a local in need when I couldn't fly it back on the plane.

Huygens place is overrated. The room I had cost almost $500 per night. It was an incredibly small room, some 140 square feet (13 square meters) in area, including the bathroom. It had no closet or dresser and no table or desk. Just a narrow bed, a fridge, and a small sofa chair. The one good thing asbout the hotel is its proximity to the museums. Otherwise, it is a waste of money.

Absolutely loved our stay! Our room was pleasant, bed was comfortable, employees are very friendly and location was perfect. Close to trams or just walk distance to many restaurants.
