This was my kind of place. Visually very inviting and cozy. Lots of rustic wood and stone construction. Rooms were very quiet - if there was someone staying in the rooms on either side of me, I never heard them. The food and was good and the service was excellent. Would love to return to this hotel with my family for a vacation stay.

You walk in and you're in awe of the gorgeous lobby, and then you wander through to this amazing tropical pool and jungle-like grounds. Just a gorgeous building with an incredible layout. And if you're lucky enough to enjoy a meal here, you will not be disappointed - the breakfast was probably the best hotel breakfast I've had anywhere. Dinner was a bit pricy, but so so worth it. Would stay here again in a heartbeat

The hotel was incredible. A large space, well decorated and immaculate. Room was very large and comfortable. Beautiful pool and bar/restaurant. Gorgeous landscaping and plants. Very secure. Absolutely recommend for an overnight near the airport or a few days in that business conference center area.

Very lovely location as we returned to San Jose for the evening prior to our flight early in the morning. I would return and intend to in the future. It was the most quiet place we stayed among the 3 during our trip. My only concern was the bath drain and the functionality of the shower plumbing, otherwise a wonderful place:)

Amazing hotel with beautiful landscape it feels like you are at a resort. Large pool and hot tub and great restaurant. Quiet, comfortable, wonderful! There was some difficulty checking in as it took them a long time to locate my Expedia booking. But they were kind and reassuring.

Good location near airport. Nice large room with comfy bed. Service was very friendly and attentive. Breakfast buffet good, but a bit pricey. Secure parking. We would stat here again.

The hotel design is beautiful. I feel like you're in a tropical resort. The room was spacious and we had everything we needed. I would stay here again if we ever come back to Costa Rica.

The hotel was very humid and had a rustic smell and the bathtub was moderately clean. The room served its purpose and there were no major problems but there are most likely better alternatives for a similar price.

We stayed for for one night before leaving costa rica. They picked us up from the domesticcairport. Easy check in. Super friendly staff. We upfraded that day to include a balcany and breakfast. Nice happy hour. Enjoyed the pool and got us to the airport on time. Would defintely staybthere again

Moved rooms 2x. Planned staying 12 nights after a surgery here. Absolutely unacceptable/unhealthy. The main corridor is subterranean, the whole place is lousy with black mold and mildew. Had to use my puffer the entire time. Stayed five nights, then couldn’t stand it, moved to another hotel. All 5 nights were extremely uncomfortable. Even inside dressers/closet mildewed. Went to local Walmart, bought dryer sheets, stuck them in the vents of the AC and Lysol, but it didn’t help at all, the carpet on both sides of the corridor all the plantings just unbelievably damp. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a spoiled gringa who thinks everything should be like “home“, I have been here more than 12 times over the last 15 yrs,Hilton honors member, so I have a general idea of what to expect. But not this! Had to have everything that I brought in laundered, canvas overnight bags,even eyeglass cases due to smell. staff was friendly, but just didn’t seem to give a crap that I was going through a healing process n picked this place specifically so I could chill in my room and eat by the pool and relax. Well, that was not happening either very noisy at the pool from sun up - 10pm. People smoking outside my door. Cockroach city. I’m Floridian, not freaked out, but this was epic. Food portions in the restaurant SO expensive n small, ended up Uber eats every meal. Don’t spit in my face and tell me it’s raining. Internet sucked. No English TV- no way to load apps.AWFUL STAY. Charged for leaving early!

Very upsetting to have been placed in an adjoining room when the hotel was not full. The people tried to get into our room. The security told them we complained about the noise. Suggestion? D0n't have your security say who complains about noise.
