Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Greenville Simpsonville

Great stay!

Everything was good.

The Day Shift Desk person was not very accommodating with changing rooms due to having a plugged up toilet. He said he would send up a plunger for us to unclog the toilet. We left for four hours and after returning the toilet was still plugged up. I went to the front desk and the guy said he would give me a plunger. He said we must have plugged it up and we needed to unplug it. I told him if the plunger wasn’t attached to a maintenance man don’t bother sending up a plunger. I told him it was not our job to do their maintenance for them. I requested to be moved to a new room and with some hesitation on his part, he said he would call me in a few minutes to let us know what room he could move us to. After an hour of waiting, I returned to the front desk and he was gone, his shift was over. He never even left a message with the 2nd Shift person. The 2nd Shift person was extremely helpful, accommodating and apologetic for the Day Shift person. We were given a new room that turned out to be a very clean room and had a working toilet!

I was very pleased with my stay. I’m a germaphobe and travel with Clorox wipes and bathroom cleaner, this room required none of that. The bathroom was totally spotless as was the rest of the very spacious king suite. The carpeting throughout looked new, the staff were polite and helpful. The only downside was some occasional traffic noise, not the hotel’s fault. I also always travel with a noise machine so it wasn’t that noticeable. I highly recommend the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Simpsonville.
