Cleanliness is so important, showing that you care about your facility goes a long way. Fitness area is essential and putting things in place to help keep the area tidy . A+

We like Hilton properties because most are now dog friendly. This one was clean and quiet. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The property was well maintained.

Enjoyed all the hotel had to offer from the outdoor patio to the bar and restaurant. Really liked it was close to the highway and 20 mins away from downtown Des Moines. Rooms were clean - fridge in the room didn't keep our drinks cold but not a big deal for us. Would absolutely be back for another stay.

Nice spacious room with very little noise from neighboring rooms or floors. AC system was excellent: cooled my room quickly and almost noiseless! Grounds, rooms, lobby and restaurant was nice clean and well maintained.. overall a very nice experience.

Cozy room! Shower is outside of the restroom and has a clear door. Wasn't an issue for us, but may be for those traveling with others. The gym was great, staff was friendly, and breakfast was delicious.

The room was very nice. It's a newer hotel, still seems clean and fresh. The breakfast was mediocre. Not a ton of selection, not the best quality of food, and just one person in charge of keeping everything stocked on a very busy Sunday morning. My biggest complaint is how the shower is set up. It has a completely see-through door, and isn't in its own room. If you're travelling solely with someone you're okay with seeing you naked, it's not bad. But if you're sharing the room with friends, or have kids who shouldn't be seeing Mommy or Daddy in the shower, this is not the place to stay. The way the mirror is set up directly across from the shower door, you're visible to people even when they're in the bed/tv area of the room. What a stupid set-up. I probably would stay here again, but feel like the info about the shower should be out there for others to take into consideration when deciding if they want to stay here.

This was one of the nicest hotels we have stayed. Friendly and helpful front desk at check in. So helpful with a room close to an outside door for our older dog. The room was clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay again!

Water pressure could be improved, and the shower products are oily and should be changed from the current brand. In all other respects terrific hotel with modern amenities, terrific comfort lighting and bedding and climate control etc. Excellent decor.

When we got there we had to wait because no one was at the front desk. So I went into the bar and asked for someone. When she finally got there she grabbed something and then said she would be back. When she finally did sit down she answered a call and continued on that while 4 different families stood there to check in. Finally she got to all of us and told us breakfast would be served until 11am. When hubby & I got to our room it was 2 fulls although I reserved a King then on top of that the air conditioner fans were right above us on the roof and they were loud and vibrated the whole room. So when we got up the next day we went down to eat Breakfast only to find out it was done at 10 am we got down there at 10:02 and everything was already cleared up and cleaned up. Luckily there was a restaurant next door we got to go to before we left. Overall the hotel looks were great very updated etc but the service was awful. We don't think we will ever go back when there are many other places that are just as nice. We had higher expectations coming from a Hilton hotel.

The hotel is very nice, check in was quick and easy. The staff are very friendly and professional. The room was clean and smelled good, there was bathrobes and slippers available in the closet and plenty of Towels available in my room. My only complaint was that the shower floor gets very slippery. There is a lounge and a restaurant onsite with a hand full of dishes. Machine Shed restaurant is also in the same parking lot.

Breakfast was a disappointment. The photos while booking made it look so great, but when we got there there were 3 hot items- eggs (which were not good) Tator tots- not had browns, and sausage Patties- which were rarely refilled. No fruit options, no bread options. Cereal was only corn flakes and Rice Krispies. Other than that it was a great stay!

Great location & easy access to interstate. Upscale homey vibes with a bar & restaurant in house. Best of all they are dog friendly! Only issue was the breakfast was absolutely terrible & the pics online are deceiving! Our dinner was great so just very disappointed in the breakfast. Luckily a Starbucks is washable distance.

We liked the modern feel and it was very clean. Disliked how loud our 1st-floor room was - it was too close to the lobby and the lack of carpet means no sound absorption - also we could hear people just walking around above us. The breakfast rush was too much for the two staff members trying to keep up with it - they were completely out of food and utensils. Also didn't love how the shower door was clear and viewable to someone using the sink/looking in the mirror. If the glass was frosted it would help.

Using Expedia to book, I reserved a 2 Queen Suite with a pull out couch. After waiting about 25 min for the people ahead of me (2 people) to get room cards (their computer system couldn't print room swipe cards), the suite was unavailable. They wanted our family of 6 to sleep in a King suite with pull out couch. After about 20 minutes, they found a 2 queen room that could accommodate 2 roll in single beds. While the woman who helped us was kind, the whole process was exhausting and I would not stay there again.

This hotel was fantastic - friendly staff at check in and throughout our stay, lounge food was good and breakfast selection much better than most places, lovely facilities and comfortable room and very quiet! Wonderful value for the quality and convenient to WDSM. We liked it so much that we already booked it for our next trip!

Quick check-in. Great value, nice hotel rooms and lobby, very clean, comfortable beds and pillows. Nice robes.
Vacuuming next to our room at 8:30 am was pretty annoying. Couldn’t go back to sleep.
Complementary breakfast was extremely underwhelming, been at motels with better breakfast. No waffles and the fruit was bad.
