Overall our experience at the hotel was great. The breakfast buffet was fantastic! We had dinner at the Mediterranean Steak House restaurant - which was very good, as well as dinner at the Oeillet Pastry Café - which was very good as well. The room was spacious and clean. Each floor had a nice common area. The rooftop with the garden and workout room was nice and unique. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. The location was close to a train station and there were coffee shops, convenience stores, grocery, general stores, a small night market, and restaurants very close as well. I have no complaints and would not hesitate to stay there again or recommend the hotel to anyone looking to stay in that area.

Hotel is traditional w the usual ameneties—-gym, restaurant, cafe, biz center. The decor does remind me of hotels on the cotes de sur. Breakfast Restaurant gets busy on the weekend

Every potential need is anticipated -- slippers, toothbrush, bathrobe, bottled water, a mini-fridge--even a yoga mat for exercise. Great breakfast--whether you want an English , a Danish, a Japanese, or an American breakfast, you can take your pick or mix and match. The front desk staff are exceedingly helpful on arranging for taxis and giving suggestions on good places to visit. The area is safe to walk at all hours. Very comfortable.

Breakfast buffet is amazing! We enjoyed very much. Omelette was always fantastic! They provided fresh fruits each morning. Free bottle of water was provided each day. It's located to Tatung Univestity and good location for the public transportation. Will make another reservation on our next trip.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The room was lovely and beds were very comfortable. The best part was the reception and lobby staff. They were so kind and helpful. We used their complimentary shuttle service both days. Their morning buffet provided a big variety of food and it was all delicious. We felt we were in a good location. Close to a night market. We’d definitely stay here again.

What a great hotel! Located 10 minutes walk to the train station commuting to the central districts are a breeze. The hotel itself is extremely stylish and it feels a step back in time. On that note my only real criticism (aside from the gym - but in all fairness I've yet to stay at a hotel that has one that's even remotely functional) is that the rooms could use some modernizing such as swipe card access etc. Very minor really and overall a great place to stay.

Rooms were ok. Overall clean. Staff service was not fantastic. Upon checking in at around midnight, I told them I would make total payment and gave them my debit card. Instead they only held the total sum plus deposit through my debit card. If I had known that they only intended to hold the sum, I would not have given them the debit card as that was a deduction from my account. Upon checking out, they asked for full payment again. As it is, I am concerned that if they do not cancel my first payment plus deposit, i would have been charged twice. Bfast was lack of choice too.

Everything good and excellent. Especially at every floor outside room wide space and sofa set. Staff are very faster action. Only freakfast not good enough 4.5/5 STARTS LEVEL. Iittle bit far from MaT station. Need to walk 10/15 mins.

Another great stay from our favourite hotel in Taipei. Good food and room service. Only downside this time was the non-carpeted area of the room was not hoovered. We spent several days in this room and the dust on the floor was clearly evident. The only blot on an otherwise excellent stay.

Great stay here for 6 nights. Loved the breakfast, handy for night street market, fabulous foot treatment just around the corner, close to Expo site and short walk to Metro for access to the whole of the city. On a main road with a little road noise and under the flight path to Taipeis second airport but not many flights. There is a roof garden to watch them go by!!! Helpful and friendly staff. Planning a return visit in December.

Good hotel with very spacious rooms and nice breakfast (fresh egg station, french style bread and Asian options). Rooms are a bit old (curtains in particular a bit dusty) but have good amenities. Location is 600m from 2 train stations. Staff is friendly and it is easy to communicate in English.

I must say that I had my doubts due to the proximity of the airport, but the building was very well sound proofed, and i could see jets coming in for a landing and not hear them. The location is a short walk from several local temples and two different subway stations, which made exploring Taipei so much easier. The staff was incredibly friendly and very helpful. They checked us in immediately (early check in) and gave us directions and a local map to the subway station. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The doorman even made arrangements for an English speaking taxi driver to take us to see several waterfalls and attractions outside of the city. Breakfast was good, with the dumplings being a big standout. One word of advice is that the restaurant is smaller, so if you want to eat dinner there, make a reservation. All in all, it was a wonderful stay thanks to the staff.
