We chose not to stay and the hotel was kind enough to not charge us. The request was for a property near the Taos ski valley. Your site indicated it was only 7 minutes from the slope, but not the slope we were going to ski. The info was misleading and inaccurate for our purposes. This is the second time we have encountered this with hotels.c and we were very unhappy about it.

We stayed for a long weekend at the Best Western Rivers Edge. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. It is very close to the ski lifts - almost like ski in and out. Everything in town is within walking distance. I would stay there again.

The hotel was very quiet and there were only a few guests so I was upgraded to a room with a view and the creek out front. Very friendly and efficient. The bonus was that it is slope side. 100 yards to the lift! And they serve a whole hot breakfast if you like.

The room was clean and comfortable. Easy access to nearby chair lift. Hot, made to order breakfast daily (eggs, bacon, waffles) plus additonal breakfast items. The hot tub was a great benefit after a day on the slopes! Bonus that animals are welcome as this was our first time traveling with ours.

Property was very clean and the breakfast was amazing (cooked to order). Everything was very good except some of our other people had issues with the owner. And the fact that the venmo link to tip the cook went to the owner and not the cook is not cool. Otherwise, was a good time and would most likely stay again.

Hotel was nice but the 2nd floor was a bitt scary because when you walked across the floor it didn’t feel like it was sturdy. You could feel it shake kinda when you walked. Breakfast was wonderful, food was fantastic. The girl working the hot food was great!

We loved that it was right next to the river which we saw folks fishing and catching fish. One block from main street area where all of the restaurants were located..just take a nice walk to eat or have drinks at the brewery. Room was large and clean. Breakfast the next morning was huge with eggs, bacon, toast, etc. which they made for us right on the spot.

Best Western River’s Edge is an interesting property. The beds are super comfortable. We slept well both nights. The hotel is on the banks of the Red River. Several guests fished the river. There is comfortable seating on the back lawn near the river. House keeping refreshes the rooms each day. Breakfast is cooked to order eggs and waffles other self serve items. Hotel is located within easy walking distance of most of downtown WITHOUT the noise of being on Main St. Negative…the floors squeek. We would stay here again. The proximity to the river is worth it. Recommend rooms on the river side.

Right along the river, we were able to open the window and hear the rushing of the water all night and day. Seating right along the river! Made to order breakfast; basic but good - eggs, bacon, waffles plus yogurt and cereal options. This was a great stay for a break away in Red River. We will return!

i had requested a first-floor room on the Creekside for our anniversary, when i made the reservation. i called to confirm reservation, and check on their internet connection, they stated it was fiber, and a good speed. i am physically challenged with stairs, so it will take 2-3 weeks to recover from having to use them. The man at the desk was not very helpful. i guess when you are sold out you can take the low road and not be helpful.

We have stayed in Red River many times, but this is the first time we stayed at the Best Western. Our room was clean nicely appointed and best of all it overlooked the River. Breakfast was excellent and far more than the typical rolls, juice and coffee. The sound of the river and the natural smells of pine, cedar and sage were very soothing. Thank you for a great stay!!

Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable and clean rooms and public areas. Nice little outdoor seating groups with a small fire pit gave us a relaxing way to enjoy the day’s end at the water’s edge.

In my opinion this is one of the best places to stay in Red River! Affordable, clean, friendly service, excellent location, beautiful views, and great breakfast! Within walking distance to a park, restaurants, shopping, and trails. My kids enjoyed being able to walk out the door and walk straight to the creek. We will definitely stay here again!

Built on the side of a roaring river. Our room opened to a deck overlooking the river Bad was the room was on the corner with a laundry room next door and we had noise most of the evening.

Amazing property and staff. Room was clean, quiet and well equipped. Front desk check in was smooth and we were greeted with friendly courteous clerk! View of the river was amazing! Breakfast was so good we left the cook a 20 dollar tip! Will definitely stay here again someday!
