This is the premier hotel in Zagreb. Its history with the Orient Express speaks for itself.
The room we had was run entirely by touch screens. Everything from A/C controls to lights and curtains were controlled by touch screens throughout the room. We only stayed two nights, but I’d give this hotel high marks.

Beautiful grand hotel with large spacious rooms. Within close walking distance to the city centre where the restaurants are. Highly recommend this place.

Hotel Esplanade Zagreb is a beautiful, well maintained hotel. The room was spacious and provided very comfortable bed for rest. Travelers should be aware that the room did not have a clothing iron for guest. The valet was very prompt and kind. We enjoyed an old fashioned and whiskey sour in the lounge area which were delicious. This hotel is about 10-15 minute walk to the majority of attractions. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends.
