Yummy welcome cookies, very clean room, nice amenities, breakfast was simple but good. Friendly helpful staff. Clean pool that’s open till 11p. Safe neighborhood, Walkable, with lots of food options.

We asked for a couple more pillows the night we got in of our 3 night stay. The front desk said housekeeping was gone for the day and no one had the key? They said they would deliver them the next morning. Asked 2 more times throughout the stay and never got them. The toilet would run continuously unless you played with the handle. The room itself was clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was fine but seemed to run out of things quickly. We were at breakfast within the first half hour of it starting every morning.

My stay was ruined because they gave me a room right next to the railroad tracks, and the commuter train was passing by almost 24 hours a day every 10 minutes. Also, the elevator was right next-door and then on top of it. I guess there was a restaurant nearby that had loud music.

The sound of the hot water running through the pipes was a little loud. A wastebasket was placed in the hallway in the morning to catch drops of water from a leaking pipe. Breakfast was ok. Did see some homeless people loitering around the area near the swimming pool. Sadly this is a common problem in southern CA.

Overall the trip was great! Room was clean and it had two televisions. Bathroom was clean. Breakfast was nice with various options and different from one day to another. Staff was super friendly and helpful. I guess my only issue would be if your room and the one next to you has one of those doors in between for when they’re shared rooms. You’ll hear about everything from the other guests next door. But overall it was great!

From the moment we walked through the doors the staff was kind and accommodating. The room was spacious and clean. The continental breakfast was delicious each morning. Will definitely stay here again the next time we are in this area!! :)

I did not like the fact that we needed to call a day before to get service to the room done, even though we checked in the same day. Otherwise the staff was very friendly, every one we interacted with.

I want a refund! Unable to operate TV, broken box spring and the noise coming from the mechanical room next to #125 was a loud roar. At 10:00 pm we requested a different room but the hotel was sold out. When we complained about the TV the staff member with slight condescension said we just don’t know how to turn it on. The 3rd member of our party happens to be very tech savvy and couldn’t figure it out. We kept getting a “ no signal”. Miserable night.

No clean towels, rooms were run down with no shades on windows in two rooms. Had to change rooms multiple times. Front desk barely spoke English and was rude when you inquired about anything.

A/C did not work in our room, so we needed to switch rooms, which was fine. Pool was unavailable. The property should notify Hotels.com to let them know that the pool is out of service as pools are a selling point for stays.

The man at the desk during my last visit was shockingly rude, passive aggressive and unhelpful. I stayed here only a week prior to this visit and had a wonderful experience, noting that the staff was very kind and professional. It is too bad that just one person can spoil my perception of an establishment I had hoped to stay at every week for the foreseeable future.

Pros: The hotel is located at a good strategic place. Nice environment to find food. Close to the mall. Parking is free. Breakfast is decent. Cons: Little bit outdated. Swimming pool is not maintained well. Caught homeless woman wondering around the lobby, scrapping for food during breakfast.
