Valentine’s Day was the worst! Hotel was getting air fixed (which they didn’t mention upon check in) so there was no air in the building AT ALL! The heat was unbearable the hotel said they would comp the room I’m still waiting to receive my deposit and also my money back from hotels.com. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

So we weren’t informed when we arrived that their Ac/heating system had blown out. Would’ve been kind to inform people and also not to hide an issue. The room was lovely. Was supposed to have a view of ballpark, but did not. No big deal. There weren’t many amenities that almost all Westins have like shower caps, tissues, or lotion. All have to be requested and I was told they were short staffed and out of most things due to a volleyball tournament that the city was hosting. Ok—so you’re saying you’re not prepared for this, though you should be stocked for each room? I’m confused. The first night our room was about 78 degrees and we woke hoping for a new room. 1 room was available but drawers were open, cushions were lifted and it wasn’t clean. We said no thank you. Also our room had two blown out lights, meaning the rooms aren’t inspected for damages or repairs. I made a request and it was fixed. The maintainance worker was kind and had come at 9:30am and we were still sleeping so he said he would come back at 12. Later he said he couldn’t come in because hotel policy says if you hand the do not disturb sign they can’t come in. Fair. Yet, housekeeping had made our beds and changed towels. So not sure about that. Day 2 we had to switch hotels because the heat was so extreme in our room. Westin paid for it, but honestly, it was me doing a lot of complaining/being annoying to get help. The location is great, but if anyone books there, ask ahead about any ac/heating issues.

I can't believe this is a Westin. Having stayed in Westins across the globe the St. Louis hotel bearing the name shows little resemblance when it comes to service, client satisfaction or managerial ability. This hotel defended their decision to schedule loud hallway carpet cleaning during the evening and nigh hours creating a loud, disruptive environment that the desk clerk and night manager refused to correct. When asked they rudely and begrudgingly changed my room (a further inconvenience). Upon checkout, the clerk was unable to print an invoice. The valet was nowhere to be seen at 6pm. It's appalling and unacceptable.

Many issues with what it says on the website and what actually is reality here. It’s too bad all the staff seems to be ticked off to work here, too new to actually be knowledgeable about anything or smells suspicious. Generous size of room but bathroom especially was very grimy, room has no sound proofing from the busy street outside or a way to add white noise to mute it somewhat. Don’t believe anything the website says about the dining offerings as none of them applied when we just stayed.

Nice property but never again will I stay here. They allowed someone to charge all their purchases from the bar to our room and I was charged $278 to the card I left on file for incidentals. Called the hotel and was told I had to wait for a manager to call me back. Never received a call back.

The check-in process was lengthy due to a system shut-down, but staff was kind and issued a drink waiver for those who had to wait. Beautiful view of Busch Stadium!

Checkin was a disaster. Took over a hour. Made us late for the concert. Then we had to wait another 25 minutes because the room wasn’t clean yet. It looked great when we finally got up there. Valet parking was great. For the most part the stay was fantastic. Checking in was a disaster.

System was down. Staff did their best. Not their fault. But....even after the wait for the system, the room wasnt ready. Thats not the systems fault. Definitely staff issue at that point.

The location is amazing for events at Busch stadium(next door) and enterprise center only a 10 minuite walk. Staff were very kind and considerate. We will return to the Westin for all concerts and ball games we attend.

The Westin St.Louis was so exquisite! Nicest hotel stay I’ve had in a while. The room was spacious and the aesthetic was just what I was hoping for. Elevators were kind of tricky to find but other than that I would definitely book again!

Drove 8 hours for a ball game. Hotel states check in at 3:00 pm. Got there at 2:40, didn’t mind waiting til 3 for my room, but I did mind waiting 2 1/2 hours for my room. I really hoped to sneak a nap in before the game, but obviously couldn’t. Had to get ready in their lobby because “ to many late check outs.” So no rooms were available. Piss poor management. Staff was nice the whole time. Absolutely falls on management on this. Don’t think I’d ever go back.

Enjoyed the hotel and the amenities. It is within walking distance of the metro ama plenty of shops. Just be mindful that it is in the business district so there aren't too many breakfast options (especially quick/affordable) in the immediate area. There is always the hotel restaurant.

The rooms were very spacious however there was mold in the bathroom, the walls were not very clean. We had to keep asking for towels as there weren’t any in the room when we checked in ( we were there for a 3 night stay). We had internet issues the whole visit and part of my trip was business requiring internet and other than for a few hours on 1 day was I able to connect. The staff or maintenance could not assist me. Parking was very expensive at $40 per day. As far as the property amenities I did not utilize so I cannot speak on that. For what we paid almost $400 per night we could have stayed in a much nicer hotel nearby. Will not stay here again.

Spacious room, friendly hotel staff, and best of all walking distance to the ball field! Couldn’t ask for anything else was a good, we have staved at Live by Lowe’s and now the Westin for games- we will definitely stay at Westin going forward room was sound proof and couldn’t hear everything going on like can at the Lowe’, and way more room great value!

its a very nice Hotel but we choose it because is literarily in front of the baseball stadium and we were going to a concert. STL is a renound dangerous city so we didn't felt safe waking after the concert.
