Furniture from the 90s and colour scheme may make the room seem dated but there are many renovated features: beds, pillows, bedding, the entire bathroom, large flat screen tv, fridge, microwave are all new. Rooms with a river view can be requested or rooms with direct access to vehicle out front. Breakfast in lobby--toast, cereal, yogurt, orange juice, coffee, and tea.

I dont usually leave reviews....but this was our first "never going to stay there again" moment. We are typically not fussy at all. But honestly all the prices in drumheller are so inflated! Even camping. My issues with this hotel were the following: so run down, needs a facelift and bad. Beds are very uncomfortable. The tv is so small. The carpets are worn and dirty. The shower hardly worked and bathroom looked dirty. The ac took forever to cool down. Our door got stuck everytime we tried to open or close it. Some workers are pleasant and some act like you are an inconvenience and the price felt so high. Positives: location. Breakfast was good. (No gluten free options though). One of the "cheaper" hotels in the area.

Nicer than expected based on first impressions. We had an upper floor room that was very large, with a queen and two singles behind a divider wall, perfect for a family with kids (not ideal for adults, one of the singles was a roll bed on the floor). The decor was very dated and the cleanliness/condition wasn’t ideal, but the sheets were clean and there was ample space. We saw into a double Queen room in passing, and the room was significantly smaller. Breakfast was a counter with 4 options (toast/pancakes/cereal/yogurt), drinks (no fresh fruit), and some packaged muffins/cookies/granola bars, but no seating, so bring the tray down from your room or eat at a picnic bench outside. Nice for a quick stay in Drumheller.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and a limited breakfast was included (although the tables were outside). The Motel itself is definitely showing its age - peeling paint, loose trim, wobbly railings, odd odor in our room, and the room was very small. This was a one night stop, and the price was low, so it was ok for us.

It’s a busy hotel and a busy place, the staff are trying their best to meet the needs of many people during in a tourist town. The hotel didn’t provide extras by any means, but the price and location were perfect.

The staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean. Good location - walk to restaurants, pool, world's largest dinosaur; close to Royal Tyrell Museum. Only downside is that people smoke and vape on the balcony and outside the rooms. Need to keep the windows closed so the hotel room doesn't smell.

This was a great little place to rest our heads. It is an older motel but still a very nice stay. I would stay here again. For the amount of time we stayed in the hotel we wouldn't need much more then this. Breakfast was good as well and staff were extremely friendly.

We stayed at the Travelodge in Drum to overnight for the Badlands Fondo the following day. The room was charmingly dated except for the bathroom which has been updated with new everything. It’s located very close to the event start which was perfect. Not a fancy place but the beds were comfortable, room clean, price was very reasonable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again !

I like the extra small touches that staff put into to make our stay better. They were able to switch my bed bedroom into a 2 bed bedroom at the very last minute and the cleaning staff left a cute surprise for my son while we were out with his toy dolls.

This was a fine hotel for the price and the location. It's located right off the main highway when you come in and on the edge of the Red Deer River. Across this river is the giant T-Rex and visitor centre. The hotel offers a continental breakfast which includes the best pancakes I've ever had. They are made by a pancake machine and they are fabulous. The breakfast also includes muffins, cereal, milk, coffee, yogurt and some other items. The one major downfall to our room was the bedding. There is no soft top blanket. It's a weird gross feeling fuzzy thin blanket between two sheets. We used the dust covers to cover ourselves on top of the blankets but then it felt like you were fighting with blankets all night. Not fun. The parking is also a little frustrating as the parking lot is not big enough but you can park just down from the rooms in the same parking lot. Not the hotels fault though. Otherwise, the hotel was great and would stay there again.

Very close to all tourist attraction. Walking distance fron downtown. 6 mins drive going to Tyrell Museum and the Badlands. All staff are very friendly and accommodating.

The travelodge was perfect for our vacation. We walked just about everywhere in town for all our meals and shopping. The room was clean and comfortable. Not 5-star quality clean but nothing to complain about. We never had the continental breakfast but from what we saw it had some great snacks and coffee. Pancakes were also available. There was some construction going on behind the building but was never a nuisance. I imagine there will be a trail availble in the future once the construction is complete. Overall, a wonderful stay.
