It's a good middle of the road hotel. It's not luxury, it's family oriented. It's about an hour outside of San Juan. The property is older and needs updating but the employees are good people and the location is pretty.

Great experience! Hotel staff was super friendly. We were there for a 3 day vacation with 2 teenagers and everyone had a blast. Note to tourists, some of the nearby neighborhood restaurants are not so friendly to tourists, but the service at the hotel was consistently amazing!

The hotel was clean but it is in serious need of updating. The paint is chipped, the carpets need replacing, etc. The breakfast is a standard eggs and sausage buffet. They will not give you more than one towel at the pool. They would not accommodate a late check out. Their televisions are intentionally not capable of Chromecast or mirroring.

We stayed here for one night on our way from the San Juan airport to the biobay tours in La Parguera. What a wonderful place. The drinks at the evening reception were tropical and delicious. We ate dinner at the Japanese restaurant right across the street. The pools were fun and we swam in the lagoon as well. There were many other amenities we weren't able to take advantage of due to our short stay. I'd stay here again

My family and I, children aged 4 and 11, had a really nice time at the resort. My children loved the pool and the beach area. Our room was nice but a few upgrades are needed. The sliding door was very hard to open. Also would have liked more information on what the hotel offers and polices. There was no information about room service in our room. The happy hour is a plus and the breakfast was good. We dined at the restaurant and ordered room service. Every time the food was really good. The NY steak was delicious. The hotel is very clean and the staff is very friendly. Lots of smiles in that hotel. We would stay at the hotel again.

Was isolated needed taxis to San Juan $65 to $75 One Way!! A long way to get to tours. Staff were great! Only place with free breakfast. Puerto Rico has no all inclusive resorts. Did not have large lobby business area only.

Perfect family vacation stay at this Embassy Suite location on Dorado beach. Good number of dinning options, kid friendly, would recommend and definitely visit again.

This place was very nice. From the positive side the staff was absolutely incredible. I would argue some of the best staff at a hotel I've ever been to. From the bar tender, to the hostess at the in hotel restaurant, to the front desk every single person went out of their way to make us comfortable. As for the hotel the main lobby is beautiful with the water feature and glass elevators. The room was a little dated. Very clean and maintained well just stylistically a little dated. The pool area was fantastic. The only negative thing I could even try and say was the public beach that the resort sits on isn't the best. It still is very nice but some of the other beaches in PR are much nicer. (this is not the resorts fault as it is a public beach) I will stay here again for sure.

I loved this hotel. My number one happiness about it was the cleanliness. My hotel room was very clean and so was the hotel. The property is clean also and there are many activities to do on the property. It is a resort basically. They have a casino , nice fancy restaurants, bowling and more. This is definitely family friendly and appropriate. I highly suggest this hotel. The only thing I didn’t like was that we requested room service and they said we had to wait until the 3rd day for the room service. I don’t know what that was about but we did end up getting room service. I love that they have their own private beach and the pool and beach doesn’t close until 11. The pool area is huge and they clean their pool every morning. You’ll see that they are cleaning the pool while you’re eating your free breakfast every morning. The breakfast was delicious and they have a chef available to make fresh food for you also. I’m definitely going to stay here again the next time I visit. The staff is also very pleasant. I felt welcomed.

Lots to share that people should be aware of before they stay. First half of our stay one of the elevators was out. Now things like this happen I understand that, but for some reason even though we had a pet we were sent to the top floor so having 1 elevator out this was a huge difficulty when we had to take him out multiple times throughout the day and had to wait forever for the elevator. Staff was mostly disinterested in helping out especially the young lady at check-in who failed to explain the parking, give us our pool towel tickets and several other items. She seemed more interested in talking with her coworker than helping us. Very poor impression. Restaurant was very basic and took 30 mins to prep a couple of dishes even though there was only 1 other table seated at the time. Lastly breakfast was nice but lacked seating and a bit of variation throughout the week. The same stuff every day got a bit old. Lastly the parking is clear over behind the casino and this is not listed in the information. On Saturday there was a party in the hotel which is fine but we could hear the pulsing music until past 2am and we were on the top floor. I understand events lasting until late on a weekend but maybe until midnight then turn in down? Can't imagine the people on the lower floors who wanted to sleep. Generally the stay was just ok. Pool areas very nice and the rooms were a bit dated but pretty good. Much better value out there for your money.

We could not sleep due to the air conditioning doing a really loud bang on the wall. The power went out 1:40am around there and back up generator never work and had to open the sliding door so my 6 month old daughter wont suffer without air. House keeping never came to change our sheet of the bed. The rooms are really out dated and could not watch Netflix just tv channels. At the time of checkout I was locked in the elevators and the power went un and got stuck there for 10 minutes and pushed the door open to get out but could not leave the parking lot because the power generator would not turn on. When its raining the hotel was leaking from the inside center and could not walk in that are. Many many other details. In my opinion this hotel is really expensive than what its for. I would not go again if all of this issues are there not for the price I was charged for.

Nicely located hotel, Amazing staff, Hotel is out dated, poor restaurant facilities. Rooms have old carpets and again need to be modernised. AC in the rooms condense on the carpets. Terrible as it provides excellent condition for mold growth.

I have stayed in other Embassy suites but this one is not at all the same as the other. Low water pressure in shower, bathroom could have been cleaner and room smells musty.

I was happy with everything only thing is when they checked my wife into the room they gave her a bunch of cards and ticket without explaining what to do with them. She had to ask that should be addressed at time of check in. Also parking they said to park in the back which should be told to park in parking deck instead of saying in the back we are not familiar with the area. They should also have service for handicaps drivers it is a long walk for them they should have valet service for them. But besides that everything was great and the place is beautiful......

Room smelt like mold, towels were not clean, hair in the shower that was not ours, parking is not included in stay, elevators seemed incredibly old. The main area appears nice, with the water fountains, but otherwise this hotel needs a serious remodel. Was lucky they allowed us to leave and only charged my for the night I stayed because we arrived super late. The staff is incredibly nice, at least those whom we worked with. Maybe I'll give another try after a complete remodel and refresh of the housekeeping staff.

My stay was nice. However the property needs to be renovated. My room had many things needed for repair and the beach gate needs to be replaced and the HVAC system needs to be updated to deal with the condensation in the rooms. The front desk staff was fantastic! They were helpful and knowledgeable. Loved Jorge the omelette chef! It’s a great hotel for families, the rooms just need to be renovated. Oh loved how accessible the on property restaurants. The resort should look into having entertainment for guests throughout the day.
