At first I got a room that was falling apart broken dresser broken mirror. Once I complained the gentleman was very nice to upgrade me to a 1bed room suite. Upon entry the suite was amazing. But once I picked up my son to stay with my me the sofa bed was broken kept falling apart the washer had a bad smell to it. Neither of the phones in the living room or bedroom worked. An the ac didn’t really give cold air, room always felt humid inside. Very uncomfortable

Check in clerk Esiu (?) was wonderful. Friendly, professional. Accommodations need updating (bathroom shower grout). Luckily hotel was not extremely crowded which made the pool area very comfortable. Oriental House Restaurant across the parking lot was very good and convenient. Great time!

We had a great time the only thing is we had an issue with the room with their sofa bed which is Not the typical sofa bed we are used and for certain medical reasons their sofa bed didnt met our needs but they accommodated us with a different room. One of the staff members was very rude and disrespectful in front desk refusing to help us with the situation but at the end the Manager took care of us. With the exception of that 1 front desk employee, everyone one else was so nice and respectful and very professional and kind. We would stay here again the swimming pools were very nice to. My grandkids enjoyed the swimming pools. Just wished their Bar area next the swimming pools would be open for snacks and drinks (non alcoholic beverages for us tho) because it was not open you had to go inside to buy the snacks or appetizers or drinks. Overall it is a very nice place to stay.

We had an amazing time! The staff couldn’t be any better. I would have given it a 5 star rating but I think they need to improve on their maintenance of the property, rooms and a bit more cleanliness.

Check in was miserable. They run on island time (slow) which is fine. However, to say that check in STARTS at 4pm which means your room may not be available until 6pm is absolutely unacceptable and ridiculous. However check out is at 11am sharp or you will be charged a fee per hr after 11am. They have you sign that agreement upon check in. Time management is not their strong suit.
The hotel must've been beautiful once upon a time. It seems very overcrowded now and they don't have enough staff to keep up with the demand. Which is sad for current employees and house keepers. We didn't bother using the pool with our 7yr old daughter. 60% of adults were engaging in PDA which seems very inappropriate in a family pool. It would've been perfectly fine in an adults only resort. I'm not a prude in the least bit and found that offensive. Not a place I would recommend for families with children or anyone that wants to relax in peace by the poolside. The pictures do NOT align with what is being provided to its guests. I was disappointed to say the least.

Suite option with washer dryer and kitchen worked well- we cooked and enjoyed daily coffee and eggs on our patio. Responsive staff at both the front desk and housekeeping. Beach was perfect for swimming and hot tub and pool great for relaxing.

This is my go to hotel when friends and family arrive at the island. Reasonable prices with great amenities. Must have a car if you want to go out to do adventures but if you just want to kick back and relax you have everything you need within walking distance including a couple of plazas with places to eat, pharmacy and icecream. Approx 2-3 restaurants on the surrounding property and a casino with live music on the weekends. Highly recommend

The hotel is poorly mantained and cleaned. We found an old bottle of water and dental floss under the beds, I guess they dont clean under them. When we got to our room one day there was no towels in the bathroom so I went to the front desk and they just told me that it was not their problem and I had to contact the cleaning crew! After further discussion they gave me only one towel! Awful service. The only thing good was the pool which is shared with the embassy suites hotel.

While the resort aspects of this facility were fine, our room #2371 turned out to have beg bugs. They feasted on our feet and legs to the point that we needed to obtain medical treatment. Since it takes a few days for the bites to appear, we spoke to the management to report this situation and requested that they examine the room so no other future guests would be subjected to the bugs. They never got back to us nor did they respond to my subsequent email. Stay away is the best advise we can give you.

Disappointed in this property. There were leaks in the ceiling and they had buckets set out to catch thebwater. My room was old and out dated. It was consistently wet from condensation. So much so that the walls were wet and our clothes in our suitcases stayed damp. Very limited food options. Bathtub barely drrained. We stayed for 2 days and checked out 2 days early and changed hotels. It was overall very much downgraded from how it's presented online. I have never complained about a property before, and I was so dissatisfied that I requested a refund for the 2 days that missed after checking out early and was refused due to their no-refund policy. I was told that I should have just asked for another room, but why would I want to stay at a property that I was so dissatisfied with? It seems like for the sake of customer service, they would have honored my requst. Especially considering that I have pictures and video to support my complaints. I do not recommend this property, and will never stay there again. The only saving grace is that outside of refusing to refund any of my money, the staff was super nice.

The building itself is "run down" and needs a lot of upgrades, however, theveasin why I loved this stay is bc how clean are the rooms, the linens, towels, nothing smelled bad, they have a great cleaning crew and it made our stay worthy. Their staff is nice, helpful and friendly, would definitely return

Thank goodness we only booked one night. It was a girls day beach booking so we got there at noon and used the beach/pool amenities before checking in.
There are quite a few Iguanas that live on the island in the pool and they get in the water which isn't the best. We did NOT get in the pool. The beach was nice and access to chairs are free. There was no staff to take our food/drink orders so you have to go to the pool bar if you want anything.
When we checked in at 5, the room was decent, very outdated and small even though we booked a "Suite". We showered even though there was NO HOT WATER in the bathroom sink. We called to ask for more hand towels only to be told we could only have the amount of the people that were in the room.
There are several restaurants off property that were great including a Casino. Once we returned for the night, the beds were VERY HARD and we had a sheet with a very thin blanket. Needless to say, we slept on what felt like park benches with newspaper cover - very bad. They charge you if you stay past 11am check out time but we were up and out by 9am. Would NOT stay here again. The Embassy Suites is right next door and shares the same pool/beach so I would recommend that.

I stayed on the second floor.... The hallway rug was dirty, the walls as well as the rooms doors were rusty, moldy and in very bad shape. Apparently the room furniture was bought at the Salvation Army. These place is an expensive low income housing.... Do not stay here!!!!

The stay for 11 days was terrible. The horrible mattresses, used for more than a decade, felt the rush. The most horrible thing is that they were informed about this and they did not resolve it. Lack of cleaning and maintenance. In general it cannot have more than 2 stars.

The hotel and its amenities were beautiful. The beach access was super great. The lounge chairs on the beach need some tlc. The room was too wet. The moisture in the room made for a very wet and moist room. We were moved to another room but nothing changed. Our stay was short so we tolerated it. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

The place is spectacular as it is on the ocean front, and plenty of pools to bask in the sunshine. Restaurants are accessible.
However, they do not provide transport to the airport and the room(suite) had a sale odor to it, otherwise it was clean and spacious

I am rating this hotel a one because of the black mold and uncleanliness through out the hotel.
My family and stayed three nights at this hotel. We were greeted by very unfriendly staff but that's not my real problem. The real issues is the cleanliness and health concerns. There was trash around the elevators and I understand that things fall and they have to pick them up but I purposely stood there and watch their workers walk back and forth and not clean it up. Next, and most importantly the rooms were full of black mold. We spoke to management and we tried to go to a different room they took us to four different rooms and they all were full of mold also the windows had a green algae that covered the windows some of them were more severe than others but all of them have the algae on it. I'm quite aware that this is an island and we're right on the ocean, but the serious health risk due to black mold or severe and should be taken seriously.
I am completely baffled by the evaluations where people say it was excellent it's a 9 out of 10 . Before you reserve a room here, I would highly recommend that you look to another hotel Don't put your health at rest I'm not doing this to be mean but I had to go to urgent care for treatment once I return home.
Also we try to move to another hotel we could not because there was no availability.
