Beautiful property. Breakfast was delicious and there was quite a spread of fresh fruit, hot dishes, lunch meats and cheeses. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The entire staff was congenial and very helpful.
The room was spotless, elegant, and the bed very comfortable. The French doors opened onto a small patio with table and chairs, and a view overlooking the Douro River across to hills of vineyards. The smell of the jasmine in the courtyard permeated the air.
We did not anticipate the welcome glass of port, and really enjoyed it while relaxing in the library bar. In the morning we enjoyed an English breakfast, and there were yogurts, fresh cheeses and fruit, and a huge variety of breads and pastries. One night was not enough! If you can visit this lovely part of Portugal, I highly recommend at least one night here.

The stay at Vintage House was a highlight of our holiday. The staff were absolutely lovely and the meal at Rabelo Restaurant was world class. All the while soaking up the glorious Douro Valley views from our verandah. A perfect stay.
