Beautiful location with views across the river, lovely room, friendly staff
A lack of amenities in the rooms, they don’t have fridges, or tea/coffee making facilities, cutlery/glasses, but neither do they offer dinner, there is a light snack menu available until 7pm. The Quinta is also a 20 minute drive to the nearest shops/restaurants, so some amenities in the rooms would be useful.

Ierašanās Quinta dona Matilda ir elpu aizraujoša. Iebraucamais ceļš ir caur vīnogām apstādītu "tuneli", kur nobrieduši vīnogu ķekari burtiski karājas no griestiem. Pati ēka ir vēsturiska un ir pārbūvēta viesu izmitināšanai. Viss ir ļoti intīms un ļoti jauks. Ēdamistabā jūs priecēs vēsturiskas mēbeles un trauku kolekcija - fantastiski portugāļu porcelāna eksemplāri. Pa logiem paveras unikāls skats uz Douro upes ieleju. Jauki ir vērot laivas, baržas un kruīza kuģus, kas lēni paslīd garām. Vīnogulāju terases ar senām un modernām vīna darītavām visapkārt, ir patiešām elpu aizraujošs skats.
Īpaši atzīmējams ir baseins līdz kuram nokļūst cauri skaistam terašu dārzam. Peldoties, skats uz Douro upi un ieleju ir vēl neaizmirstams, it īpaši saulrietā.

Die Lage und das Grundstück mit den Weinbergen und Olivenbäumen und der schönen Aussicht ist gut.
Der Pool ist in katastrophalem Zustand und völlig in die Jahre gekommen. Der Putz oder Folie blättert überall ab. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer lässt zu Wünschen übrig. Die Terrassentüren schließen nicht dicht ab, unten sind große Schlitze, durch die alles reinkrabbeln kann. Keine Steckdosen am Bett. Bereits ab 19 Uhr ist niemand mehr da und man kann nicht mal etwas zum Trinken bekommen.
