Very friendly and helpful. Wish there had been a breakfast like other hotels. Having to find someplace takes away from exploring the area

I had high hopes about this hotel, but was disappointed from the beginning. First of all, this hotel is located on a very busy street- St Charles- plus the street car. We arrived around 6:45 PM on a Friday evening and no one was valeting or helping you park that we could see. Very limited parallel parking AND the street car driver yelling for you to get out of the way!! When we did get parked, only one person at the desk and we were 4th or 5th in line. After getting our rom key, was told to give car keys to Valet, which was obviously one person for that too. Although we booked a corner room, apparently because we were late checking in, we were given the last one available, which was on 3rd floor- overlooking St. Charles and very noisy. The street car makes a lot of noise when it passes by. The room itself was very spacious, with lots of windows, but the windows were not that useful since one wall was bricked off. This hotel is old as most are in NOLA. Lobby is beautiful and common areas are charming, but rooms are in need of an update. The beds are DOUBLE and Not Queen size. This is 2024- not 1992. My parents had a regular room- King bed on 3rd floor which was very spacious for a hotel room. Great hotel if you want an average NOLA stay, but pricey for the accommodations. I guess I expected more for $335/night with parking.

We very much enjoyed our stay - great location, super friendly staff, comfortable room. Perfect place to explore New Orleans!

When we booked the room we put 4 adults in the room. We arrived early and the hotel stored our luggage. When we came back, one of the doormen said he’d bring it to our room in 10 min. 30 min later, we went down to get it ourselves. Of course, he expected a tip even when we had to go down and get him. He said he forgot our room number.
The bathroom had 3 towels and half a roll of toilet paper. We called down at 845am for towels, called again at 915am. My husband went down to get some but the front desk only had toilet paper. It’s now 10am, still no towels. Check out is 11am. We should get a late check out because not everyone can get a shower.

It was really a bad room. It was so cold that I could not sleep. Heater was not working and there was no blanket in the room. Very disappointing. For the first night it was ok because weather was hot. But after that temperature was around 50 and very windy and room was cold. I hope I do not get sick.

It was very clean, staff friendly, nice historic building, but remodeled to look very nice. Elevators are super fast, in a safe area, and trolly pick up location very close. Two nice smaller cafe/restaurants across the street for breakfast and lunch. We didn’t try the restaurant in the hotel, the prices were very expensive and very limited menu. Short walk to Canal Street & Bourbon Street. Just enough off the beaten path for it to be nice and quiet!

It was a comfortable stay. I am disappointed that a 4-star hotel in the Central Business District of New Orleans does not offer complimentary Wi-Fi. The hotels charges $14.95 for Wi-Fi. Also there was no parking available. The only option is valet parking which is $56.

Nice place to be away from all the crowd but still in a walking distance to the crowd.

$50 for parking is a bit much at least you can come and go as much as you like with that 50. Being a bit off the strip made for a quieter stay.

Great stay, staff was very nice. Great restaurant in Hotel, Lukes. Good location, walking distance to everything or short Uber ride.

Staff all friendly, polite and helpful. Bellman at entry door and door always locked. Room spacious and adequate. Last day water was only lukewarm in shower, otherwise was great. Beware of extra " resort fees" added at checkout.

The hotel stay was very good. It's close proximity to French quarters, waterfront and fine restaurants. The staff was friendly, professional, and courtesy.

The rooms on the picture do not match what you get!
Breakfast is not included. Even you book with breakfast, they will charge you at the end of your stay!
No information from front desk! Horrible experience. Never gonna stay there again! It is a scam! Be careful!

I have stayed here on several occasions and really do like this hotel. I was very disappointed with my stay this time.
First, my room looked like a conference room that was made into a hotel suite.
Reservations were two queen beds for 4 adults. These were not queen beds. They were full size beds.
The floor squeaked wherever you walked. Very loud.
There was no hot water.
We could not cool the room off.
The room is nestled right above St. Charles street so you hear ever person and every car pass.
Very disappointed in this hotel.

Perfect for Mardi Gras

We were travelling in from Alabama. And due to the closed off roads during Mardi Gras, we drove in circles for about 2 hours trying to get to the hotel. Luckily, Angel answered the phone and told us the exact road to take. Kennedy gave us a $20 voicher to Luke's for our discomforting arrival. Even though the hotel did nothing wrong. Unfortunately, Luke's never answered and their online site was down. So when we went in to use it, the front hostess said we could no longer use it because it was for room servive only. So 10 for the hotel and -1 for Luke's.
