I travel a lot but almost never leave reviews - however, this is one of the best old world ambiance I have experienced and thus, the property deserves a review :) the property is gorgeously designed, solidly built and immaculately maintained. The staff was friendly, very helpful and capable. Highly recommend

Great stay at Sofitel for family of three.
Staff were fantastic everywhere we went in the hotel. Concierge was great help in organizing tours of Ang Kor Wat etc. and shorter local trips that we went ourselves. Swimming pool was large and never crowded. Front desk always friendly. Great internet. Short distances to 7-11 and to markets.
We are 150 km from the Thai border war and never felt unsafe. It did affect the number of tourists so everywhere is not crowded even in December (peak season).
Paid for Club access and had free breakfast, drinks and evening meal (at Club Millesime) - good value for money. Breakfast buffet had so much choices and never had to wait long for tables. Staff so efficient and always friendly.
Special thanks to the staff at Club Millesime - always wonderful every evening.

We had an amazing stay! The staff were very attentive and helpful. We loved the pool area as well as the special club level lounge. We can’t say enough good things about the hotel and staff!

Five stars, and the staff are the reason why. We stayed two nights with our family, including a young child, and every single person we dealt with — front desk, restaurant, housekeeping, concierge — went out of their way to make things easy. Nothing was ever a problem.
The property itself is beautiful: colonial-style buildings, huge gardens, and a pool we wished we’d had more time for. Great location for early temple runs too. We’d come back without hesitation.
