The front desk staff was extremely inattentive. They stood and chatted with a long line of people standing in front of them.

It’s a very relaxing environment in a convenient location.

Very clean grounds and rooms. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great. Amenities are a good value. I’ve enjoyed my time here. I would definitely stay here again.

This Residence Inn is in need of some much needed updating. We had to switch from a studio with a separate bedroom to a room with no separation because only the bedroom area had any air conditioning. This is unacceptable in the middle of August. The breakfast area also was not air conditioned.

Omg...Everything was awesome. The staff was very friendly, especially the front desk staff. I was going through a situation because of a reservation error that another hotel messed up on. They were very empathetic, understanding, and helpful. Everything from the lobby to the room was very clean, fresh, and comfortable. The pool was great and I loved that there was games for the kids to play. The food was very tasty and the staff kept the area clean. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you for everything.

We felt at home away from home

Loved it. It was a bit humid so the carpet stayed just a little damp and the floor of the kitchenette too. But it was a quiet, comfortable stay. Plus, fun activities for kids.

There was rats and issues with the room and the customer service was disgusting. How a manger could listen to the issues I said including my kids eating food that the rats were in and not do anything besides call the cops on me for me being annoyed with how they treated us about the situation absolutely disgusting

Could use some upgrading carpet bathrooms.

Had an attack of ants in the room that ruined all the food I prepped for the kids and it was all over my bag too. I complained but nothing was done so i left early. Also the room had a weird smell

Everyone was extremely nice and the rooms were clean. The staff were helpful and courteous.

The room was damp. The halls smelled of cigarettes.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The area outside was well kept and safe. My only complaint was the food served for breakfast. It was terrible. I was hoping for a good meal because I had a long drive ahead of me and didn't want to stop to get food. I couldn't find anything to eat that was acceptable. Even the pastries were awful.

The games and activities that were set up for the residents.

Easy to find and very comfortable two bedroom, which was more economical than getting several rooms at a wedding venue several miles away.

Bad customer service

The staff at the desk were all super nice and helpful, quick to offer up dining suggestions and help with info on our nearby activity plans. Once we got to our room things went downhill. We checked in late or else we would have complained and asked to be moved. There was hair in our bed. My husband talked me down by saying they were "fine body-type hairs" and that they probably stuck in the sheets while washing so I let that go. When I got out of the shower and opened up a towel to dry off there was a huge knot, tangle of women's hair stuck in my towel and it really grossed me out. We were very unhappy with the overall stay as the mattress was also horrible. Unfortunately, I probably wouldn't stay here again.

There's really nothing to do near the hotel it's for not kid friendly if you want to get away quiet no interruptions good place for that

Excellent service and facilities. Not bad location either, as it's walkable to downtown Allendale. Wish they had an option for compostables, though!

Even though the property was right next to a busy highway, it was still peaceful and quiet.

This is the third or fourth time we've stayed here. Always a great experience.

Decent hotel in a good location to visit relatives in the Ridgewood area.

Our stay over the weekend was extremely quiet and peaceful. We were able to bring our senior dog with us. Studio room was spacious and well equipped. You will have to request room service (towels and etc), or leave a magnet sign outside your door. Which was no issue at all. they respected our privacy, which was a plus for us since we had our dog with us in the room. Breakfast was decent, definitely would come back again here for a weekend getaway.

While I was standing in line waiting to check in I noticed that there was a spinning wheel that the people in front of us were asked to spin the wheel. So when I had finished I said to my wife he is going to ask you to spin the wheel. The lady behind the counter said oh no that’s for gold members. No explanation of how to become a gold member. The next thing is where you unload your vehicle the curb is about 4 inches tall so you have to lift the cart provided by the hotel up and over there isn’t any cut out spot to roll the cart up to the door to enter the hotel.

This is not a motel by a residence for youngish people or even working age individuals. Plenty of parking. Very long hallways, rather dark and ugly. No one to help with luggage or interested in ones fate. The room or, mini apartment, was nice with kitchen and living room, adequate bath room however sink and mirror outside of bath. Lots of windows that open with plenty of day light. and A/C. Breakfast well done. Would I go back, NO.

All was great but at night couldn’t find parking near our room. Lot was full

We reserved the two bedroom suite and it was perfect for traveling with my sister and 3 young children. Pros: The full kitchen was great to have for the children. The suite was clean and comfortable. There were two bathrooms as well, which was a welcome surprise! Cons: no daily housekeeping service. The rooms are only cleaned after you’ve been there 7 days! Also, towels are not replenished unless you bring them to the front desk and exchange for fresh towels. This was bizarre to me. I’ve never stayed somewhere with these stipulations, and I was a bit surprised that Marriott would have this kind of policy. Also something of note, the property has several buildings, so the hotel lobby is a building by itself and your room will be in one of the buildings. Our room was on the first floor, which was great in this case because I didn’t notice an elevator in our building. If traveling with heavy luggage, or small children that you’ll have to carry, this is something you will want to check on beforehand. Also something to check if staying on the first floor - make sure the windows are locked! All the windows in our suite were unlocked and there weren’t screens on the windows. I’m so glad I checked this. Could’ve been an oversight, but I think this is something the property should be more careful about for obvious safety reasons. Also, parking lot is far too dark at night. All in all, if I was traveling with children/family trip, I would stay here again for a short stay, 2-3 nights.
