Mix up checking in. The hotel couldn’t find our reservation. Steven at the front desk, helped us get a hold of Hotel.com, since I couldn’t find their # on the WEB site. Steven worked with the help desk and they resolved the issue together. It appears the confirmation went to the wrong email address.
The hotel itself was very clean, and only 2 blocks away from the 7th street casino. I definitely would stay here again. The service is wonderful all around.

The toilet in my room would not work correctly the whole time. The tv didn’t work either but not as important.

Great hotel, not in an overly nice area of town but not terrible. Had a homeless person ask for money outside the hotel doors. Rooms were nice, staff friendly. Perfect for an overnight stay. Bar & restaurant was closed on a Saturday night so that was a bummer.

The room's deadbolt did not work and additional door latch was missing entirely. Felt very unsafe. We booked specifically for the pool and it was out of order. The carpet was dirty and damaged in the room. There was no shower curtain at all. Water damage and rust on bathroom.ceiling. The beds were quite loud and had metallic creaking every time we moved. The tv remote also did not work.

we were unable to check in. random people who didn’t even work there had us knock on doors (they printed key cards that accessed every room) to find open rooms. huge security breach to let random people behind the desk and in the computer. i’ll b escalating this issue as well bc that was completely unacceptable. i was late for my event it was brutal

I have been staying at hotels for over 20 years and this was by far 1 of the worst hotels I actually STAYED in. Most hotels like this, I leave. We stayed from Sept 30- Oct 2nd and I still have a crook in my back from sleeping on those bricks of mattresses. The mattresses are so hard it’s almost as if they put a 1 inch memory foam mattress protector over a box spring to call it a mattress. The chair in the room had no cushion in the seats whats so ever. The only thing in my room that had cushion was the desk chair and ottoman. The hotel didn’t have any air fresheners in the hallway so I could smell the “service dogs” on my floor as soon as I came off the elevator. Upon walking into our room, the bathroom smelled like mold and feces. There is no exhaust in the bathroom. It smelled like someone took a poop and had just left. We clean the bathroom ourselves and sprayed air freshener and disinfectant. After a day, we realized it was something from the drains because the smell came back and we hadn’t defecated in there yet. The pillows on the bed was 3 different sizes and there was no pen and paper if needed to write anything down. Apparently they took that away for Covid, it is 2023 please put it back. Lastly, they have the audacity to charge people for breakfast. I would expect this from an up and coming hotel, branch. The HILTON? I had higher expectations, I have never stayed at a Hilton except embassy suites. The experiences were not the same. Either way, never again!

Clean and comfortable. Small cold pool, sign saus pool and spa. There is no spa. Very limited staff, bartender walked out during dinner service and it was too late to leave and go elsewhere.

Nationwide, Hilton Garden Inn is one of our favorite chains. As the the hotel in Kansas City, KS; I was rather shocked and disappointed that they have absolutely no computer room or other facility - a real negative. In general, even though a fully vaccinated believer in COVID prevention, I also feel that with the pandemic OFFICIALLY over, Hilton can reinstate routine housekeeping. We honestly believe that the current policy has little to do with customer safety, but instead has almost everything to do with your "bottom line."

Called the day of to say my plans had changed and would not be checking in. Was to pay at site so did not prepay but was still charged full price for the room.

Room had poor water pressure, ineffective and noisy A/C and area was less than ideal. Didn’t realize downtown KC was isolated on weekends. No restaurants or places to walk to, and would t feel safe walking around anyways. Will not return.

I asked for room to be cleaned and new sheets because the fitted sheets did not fit and not only did they not change anything they didn’t even change the towels

Everything was great about the hotel, except for one major exception. The sink in my room had no cold water so after about 15 seconds it was scalding. I brushed my teeth and washed my hands with water from the shower. The first night I tolerated it and thought it was no big deal — things happen. But then I told the front desk about it at 7 AM. I was gone until noon and it still hadn’t been fixed. I went down to the front desk and told them that it hadn’t been fixed. I left and got back at about five and it still hadn’t been fixed. I told them again and when I got back from dinner, it still hadn’t been fixed. it never was fixed so I spent the entire time there with no ability to wash my hands are brush my teeth other than using the shower.

It was an ok place but was an expensive room for what it was. Expected it to be nicer. Snagged bed linene, needs updated in places. Have to pay extra for breakfast.

We liked the gym the best. It has both cardio and various weights. The room was quiet and clean. The coffee was free, but breakfast was $6.

The hotel was clean and the room was clean. However, the items in it were worn. The matress was well worn - it had a "sink-hole" in the center, it was lumpy and we felt the springs. The chair in the corner had so little padding left in the seat that we could feel the support bar running through the center of it. The shower leaked under the shower pan and made the bathroom floor soaked with a thin layer of water each time it was used and the bath fan did not work. Overall, we would probably stay again; but I would pay more for a better mattress and better condition of the room furniture.

The overall experience was not pleasant. Will not stay again. Pool was closed and that was a major reason we chose the hotel for our family. Beds were super uncomfortable and the hotel was noisy.

the stay was great but the continental breakfast was not continental (not free) We paid $344.00 for a two night stay and to not have breakfast included was a disappointment. There was not a great selection of food to pay $9.99. I only got 2 egg patties that were frozen heated up and a apple...for $9.99 - I had my own water bottle. My daughter got 1 egg patty strawberries and a hash brown warmed up for 9.99...this was very expensive for what it was and selection. We don't eat pork...would have been nice to have been served turkey sausage...this is my only complaint.

The hotel was fine but, I specifically booked it because it had a bar and restaurant. Unfortunately, the night we were there neither was open because they had no staff. I feel like this should have been made clear when I made the reservation as I would have gone elsewhere.

Very clean! Clerk was very friendly. The faucet in the room was loose. The cord to the TV was undone, and it took me a while to figure out the configuration. The alarm clock was set wrong, and it can only be changed by the hotel staff. It was a very comfortable stay.
