Our stay was sooo delightful. Staying at the Campbell house was such a breath of fresh air. What a contrast, after having been in standard hotels for the last few days. Warm welcome by a darling young woman, very knowledgeable and helpful in suggesting restaurants that we were looking for.

Visited this old house during COVID so I may have reviewed previously however nothing has changed. The Campbell house is still a most singular accommodation. I stayed in the lower Carriage House this time which is a little more secluded with its own patio. You feel like you are back in time in this immaculate, historical place. Victorian, trés boutique feeling. The free Breakfast was amazing.

What a little slice of heaven! I arrived in the evening and in the lobby area the fire was going and they offered a complementary glass of wine and a cookie! The room was spacious and had a gas fireplace and a small balcony. It was a short walk to dining options. And the breakfast was delicious! Highly recommend and would stay there again!

Can we give more stars? This B&B is absolutely beautiful. The staff is beyond helpful, and the breakfast is over the top. They should not advertise it as a continental breakfast, but maybe gourmet. Each room is beautifully decorated and none are alike. The owners of Campbell House have gone out of their way to keep the authenticity of the original home with modern conveniences. Do yourself a favor a book for several nights, you will not regret this choice!

The property, facilities, and staff were outstanding. I enjoyed a free glass of wine sitting in a quiet room with a fire. And the 2-course breakfast was outstanding. The bed was very, very comfortable. The room very clean. My only complaint does not include the facility or staff itself, but the location near the train station and tracks. I heard train horn blasting several time throughout the night. The facility was 5-star, but the external noise brought my rating down to a 4-star. If you can sleep through train horns blasting through the night, you will love this place.

We lost power at our home and needed warmth and a shower. We were so lucky to have found this gem of a place! The staff was amazing and the chefs breakfast was delicious! I can't wait to stay another time under better circumstances.

Had the bubble bath of my dreams in the Eva suite! Wonderfully friendly and accommodating staff. And the breakfast was delicious as well! Would definitely recommend for a romantic night with a partner or a quiet peaceful night of rest. 10/10

This was an amazing place to get away. It's beautiful, affordable, unique and comfortable. We will definitely recommend to friends and family and will return. The breakfast was beyond my expectations of a complimentary breakfast. SO GOOD!

Overall it was wonderful; however, the outlets in the rooms need to be changed out. They are very loose and cords don’t stay plugged in. Everyone there was pleasant and accommodating!

Unique hotel/ B & B. We stayed in the "Carriage House" section, which is a large house next to the main historical Campbell House. Our room 321 was on the side closest to town. The room itself was a bit boring... kind of a mix of vintage and antique and modern. Really large and very comfy king sized bed. Bathroom is modern and the deep jetted tub is really a bonus. Downside to this room is proximity to the train. I LOVE the sound of trains, but if you don't, it might not be the best room choice. At least 3 trains come through during the night. The breakfast served here is absolutely outstanding and healthy. The price is so reasonable for all that you get, that we'll probably stay here again. Staff is very professional.

The room was smaller than I was expecting but everything was very comfortable. No bath, which was disappointing for my chance to take a soak. The front desk person was VERY nice and accommodating and even though I had to leave in the middle of the night to catch a flight, she made my breakfast to go, and provided a personal coffee maker..a huge gesture that will have me recommend this House Inn to other traveling business collegues.

Absolutely stay here! This place is wonderful! I was a little skeptical about a B and B, but my girlfriend wanted to stay. I was wrong to be apprehensive. The Campbell House Inn was amazing. The staff were so welcoming. The atmosphere of the common space is quiet and reflective. The complimentary glass of wine was a great way to relax in the large living area post drive. The room was big enough for us, clean and quiet. The breakfast was delicious! They accommodated gluten free and was delicious. The inn in walkable to downtown, and the lookout behind it is a beautiful walk in the mornings. I can't say enough about how amazing this place was. We were looking for a relaxing and quiet "home" experience and that is exactly what we got.

Variety of room options. Took the one with a large bathtub. Wife moved the garden, the room, the breakfast, and the communication wine, cookies, and tea/coffee. Entire process was pleasant and worthwhile in comparison to a stock hotel chain.

ARRIVED AT THE CAMPBELL HOUSE AND WAS NTT GIVEN THE ROOM I THOUGHT i HAD RESERVED. THE ROOM WAS IN ITS CARRIAGE HOUSE -- ON THE GROUND FLOOR. THE DOOR AND WINDOW SHADES FOR THIS GROUND UNIT DID NOT BEGIN TO PROVIDE PRIVACY. COMPLAINED: RESPONSE WAS "OH WELL." FRONT DOOR DEADBOLT LOCK WOULD NOT WORK. RESPONSE: :OH WELL, IT IS THE TYPE OF DOOR." BREAKFAST ARRIVED AT THE TABLE COLD. NO SALT OR PEPPER. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE FOR $545.36.
