At check-in the staff was unhelpful, bored and made us feel like a nuisance and interruption. On check-out a different person treated me similarly. He actually yawned in my face without covering his mouth. He too made us feel unwelcome and a disrruption to his morning. The beds were hard. Only a mediocre level care given to the room and the bar fridge kept making a low cracking sound hourly. Not a restful night. We do not recommend this motel.

Family friendly and front desk staff were very helpful. Renovations done in the rooms but lots of cosmetic things to touch up on - lack of lighting, some painting. We really appreciated the large fridge and kitchenette.

We travelled very late due to fights delays and we were able to check in with ease after 2am. He was kind courteous and had everything ready to go with simple directions. It was fantastic!

Very clean but very cold. Took two days to warm unit. No additional coffee etc only enough for one day we stayed three Asked for handicap room my husband is 93 years old and I was down for surgery. No help there.

This was a perfectly good stay, for the price. The room was clean, if a little dated. Continental breakfast was included and just fine. Sushi Wara connected to the hotel was very good.

Its a great place to lay your head for a night or two and the Sushi place that is attached is fantastic. They also have affordable suites so you dont have to listen to your buddy snore.

Our suite was clean, tidy and well organized. The whole property was well maintained. Front desk staff were friendly, and knowledgeable about the town. Having such a nice restaurant (sushi Mara) right there was a great bonus. The selection of food at the breakfast nook was awesome. Really, the only thing I wish they had (and it’s a big deal for a lot of people) is recycling. We only had garbage cans and so (because I don’t want Mother Nature angry with me), I had to truck my recycling back home with me which isn’t ideal.

I stay here often and allwYs love my stay. But this time the room i got eas terrible. Gross stains on the carpet gross ceiling fannin my room gross chair

Friendly staff, both at check-in and check-out. As well as housekeeping. The day that i was leaving a snow storm had happened overnight, I was slow about leaving as I had to use a walker in the snow the friendly nature was even down to the maintenance worker who seeing my struggles and recognizing that I would need to have the 20cm of snow removed from my car, offer to cleat my so I could check-out. Overall, being a vulnerable traveler I truly appreciated the friendliness, consideration and kindness shown by staff. I also really like that my room was at ground level and very accessible.

The Port Augusta Inn is an excellent choice for comfort/convenience vs price. It had everything we needed, was clean, and economical. The complimentary continental breakfast was an added bonus.

This place did the trick for our flight delay over nighter. Close to the airport. Everything was pretty standard for an older motel. The family that runs it were pretty great. Checkin was smooth and friendly. We didn’t have time to enjoy the area but I know the area and the location is on point for restaurants and the beach.

It was an old property but very clean and well maintained. Very good value, excellent budget hotel. Easy 10 min walk to waterfront and restaurants.

Good-Value Hotel !! Clean, spacious non-smoking room with good water pressure for showers. Included mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, strong WiFi, excellent TV Guide with good range of channels, and free parking. Included continental breakfast was basic but adequate. Will stay here again.

Room was clean and the extra requested pillow was provided quickly. Bed was comfortable. Wasn't able to use the pool as we were there in December and I'm not a "polar bear swimmer". This was our second time staying there.

The location is great and the front desk girl who checked us in was helpful and friendly. Rooms looked clean. When we opened the fridge a flood of water poured out because it had been unplugged by housekeeping. We called and told them our towels wouldn’t hold it all and the carpet was wet but nobody came or even offered more towels. A cigarette burn on the duvet was the only other issue.

Only issues we had were the door entry and the fact that there was no heating on in the room when we got there but warmed up quickly once we figured out the system. We also could not locate a cloth to was or dry the dishes. As for the door, keyless entry worked fine but the door knob was stuck, sending up to the front desk a few times. Finally, someone came and figured out the door. The room was fine and our stay was lovely.
