I booked thru hotels.com and when I get there the water line busted but I already paid for the room so now I have to wait 7-10 days for my refund and have no place to go we had to sleep on the street that night

The room was clean but the area around the motel was troubled (bad), check-in time was 15:00 and we had to wait. I would not recommend this motel, sorry to say but I wouldn't feel right. I will recommend that the toilets be changed out to the ADA height as they are too low.

Check in at 11pm already paid. Frot desk tells me they have no rooms but if im willing to wait 30 min she'll go clean one. 10 min later comes to my car to tell us that they're was someone else with a reservation that hasn't checked in yet so they'll give me their room and clean the other for them. Then woke up to find the refrigerator had defrosted overnight. It's a counter top unit. My clothes, phone and smart watch that were on the counter were wet when i woke up. There was a puddle on the floor and water had puddled off the counter onto the floor and my bag. Everything i had with me was wet and i had an 8 hour drive still to go. When i told the don't desk the only repky was "did you unplug it?". No sympathy no, anything we can do to help.... nothing. Never staying hey again. Which is a shame because most Motel6's are better than this

Rooms are always clean even walking in the office everyone is friendly greet you right away and very understanding I made a few mistakes booking online and I don’t live in Bakersfield so when I do show up which is 1/2 in the morning they didn’t give me no problems about fixing my booking everyone is beyond nice will always go back

Door key would not work. Tried several room with same issue. Tried at least 6 times to get a card key to open a room. Then got locked out and had to start again. Room service couldn’t get in so they skipped my room them wouldn’t give me towels. I’ve seen cleaner garages. Will never return.

Went in thinking that this property was going to be just like every other Motel 6. I was wrong. I woke up at 2 AM and went to grab something off a nightstand and there were two roaches on it then I went near the fridge raider area and there were five or six roaches, crawling all over there as well.

The front desk person was rude and unhelpful. The room was dirty, full of cobwebs. There was a leak in the bathroom and the phone didn't work when i tried to call the front desk.

Overall it was clean, and check in staff was very friendly. We got NO sleep due to 2nd floor guest above us who kept stomping on the floor, seemed to be running around and dragging chairs! This went on for the majority of the night so we didn’t get any rest. When reported to the staff all she could say was “sorry about that”.

ooh... that's horrible. there are a lot of weird people around. On the first floors people live permanently. I was worried about the safety of my family and the car. The beds were clean but the room had a bad smell. it is very different from the pictures on the website.

Got car stolen. Tv broke. Ac broke. Mechanic on aote working on personal vehicle while not repairing nothing on the property. Rude staff and put us on dnr even tho we had to take our own trash out and our own linen

lot of flies inside rooms like 20-25 flies. 1-2 mugs of coffee and no creamer. asked the attendant and she shrugged her soldiers.

Beds were terriable , probably the worst my family and I have slept on . So many random people just smoking and hanging outside our room . Wouldn't stay here again . Staff was friendly though !

Will not be staying here ever again. I had booked a room non smoking area because my mom has asthma and as soon as we open the door the odor of cigarette just came out. I had to go buy cleaning supplies because it was dirty. To top it of we found a cockroach. Worst experience ever.

Area didn’t feel too safe, floors in the room/washroom look like nobody cleans along the edges, in the corners, behind the doors. Bathtub and toilet show age, peeling or spots - didn’t even want to take shower. A/C old, looks dirty, loud and gives off bad smell so we opened the window and kept AC off. Bed had a big sag and you could feel springs underneath….. didn’t sleep well, don’t plan to stay there again.

Loud all night, people living there in extended stay situations. Room was not very clean. Car alarms going off all night long. Basically it’s an apartment complex that fronts as a motel. I felt extremely unsafe there.

The staff are great. The property is horrid. There are literally dozens of stray cats everywhere. There are homeless people sleeping within the hotel on the grounds. There are nonworking doors and scary stairs. This place needs a security guard or something as it is not safe.
