We really enjoyed this hotel. The staff was friendly. The hotel always smelt great. Great view of the ocean. Watched the dolphins from our balcony. The pool was nice and warm which was perfect with our small children. Only small complaint is the bathroom area was very small and I wish there was more storage for our clothes.

There are restaurants and bars in walking distance. If you’re looking for a night on the town, Calypso bar and grill is a nice spot. This hotel is highly recommended.

The room was ready on time they let me check in an hour early. However the Parkade was marked at a restrictive height of 6’2”, which was incorrect, causing a bit of stress! The room was very clean and fully stocked; however, I noticed the air heating system vents were very dirty. Everything else was immaculate. The heated pool was almost too hot, literally steaming, but I loved it! Was grateful to see plenty of towels ready at the pool side.The breakfast was half the price versus what was advertised on the Hotels.com app. The beach view was superb!

Jeff and Jacob at the front desk were very friendly and kind. Parking was tight but ample, which was a good thing. The restaurant was understaffed and couldn't keep up with the guest's orders. It doesn't sound fair to complain about the attempt to freshen the air in the hotel but the scent being pumped throughout the building was a little unpleasant and made me concerned that there was an attempt to mask an odor.

I stayed at the property for 8 days with my boyfriend and had the best time! It was peaceful, quiet, and much needed. The property was clean and the staff were very professional! There were 2 restaurants on the hotel and they were both great. I’d recommend this hotel! 10/10

I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because there was was somewhat major problem with the hotel that I feel needs to be addressed somehow in the future. I stayed on the 2nd floor and the hallway between rooms had absolutely no padding on the walls to dampen the sound of other guests. Anytime a door would open/shut or a child would scream you could hear it very audibly in the room you were staying in. I'm not sure if this problem was on every floor, but 2 was bad.
The bathroom for a King was very small, no counterspace for much.
Room view was FANTASTIC though, and it was great having the balcony. I spend most of my time walking around and/or sitting on the balcony just listening to the ocean.
Front desk staff was fantastic, and it was honestly them and the room view that made it so I didn't rate at a 3. Seriously though, front desk staff were fantastic and super nice.

Nice bad not great either. No free breakfast which is weird since just about every other hotel on the strip offers some type of breakfast. I went with the cheapest oceanfront hotel at the time of booking so can’t really complain. Would stay here again for the right price.

Our family stayed here years ago when the hotel was under another name. I must say that we were all highly impressed with the renovations, cleanliness of the facility and the staff who were very respectful.
Downside: my car was hit in the parking garage during our stay and I now have a "buckle" to the hatch of my 2018 Pathfinder that was otherwise spotless. I reported this to the hotel on 8/6/23, asking to have camera footage reviewed as well as filed a report with VA Beach police. I have yet to hear any results.
We will be back, but I will monitor my car more closely.

After all things considered, we enjoyed our stay at the Four Points by Sheraton. The property had a nice parking garage with easy access and elevators on two of the parking decks that take you directly to room floors. Staff was very inviting and courteous and extremely responsive to any needs we had throughout our stay. We stayed on the 8th floor and had a great view of the Atlantic Ocean and boardwalk below. Housekeeping was always timely and efficient and helped keep us comfortable during our stay. Beach access was attached to property and conveniently located near a beach shower to wash off sand etc. Also attached was a great restaurant "jumpin shrimp" that offered great happy hour specials. There is also a convience store attached to purchase anything you may have forgotten/food/drinl/alc.
The only "negatives" (which aren't a huge deal for a 2 star property) -
Many outlets in the room did not work - they wouldn't keep things plugged into them. Water pressure was subpar (maybe it was because we were up so high). Paint in the room was done poorly - you could see they painted around outlets and fixtures and could even see writing behind the paint. There are only two elevators which can be pretty slow during busy times.
The pro's certainly outweigh the cons in our opinion and we would recommend this property at its pricepoint. We are a family of 5 with young children and the helpful staff, convenient location and indoor pool made it very welcoming for our vacation week.

Everything went mostly well with property. However, the morning of check in we went out to eat breakfast and then planned to come back to check out . Upon our arrival back to our room at 10 am the house keepers were already cleaning the hotel room and moved my AirPods and charger to the front desk. I noticed when I went to gather my items at the front desk that my AirPods were flashing white. Anyone who owns AirPods knows that means someone tried to connect to my AirPods. They were no longer listed as mine and I had to connect back to them. A staff member essentially tried stealing them !

The room was very clean with a nice view, being so close to the pier. I could watch the dolphins right from my balcony. The Jumpin' Shrimp restaurant adjacent to the hotel was wonderful for breakfast and dinner and was super convenient. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. My only issue was that the parking garage clearance was so low that I had to take my kayak off the top of my car to park. Fortunately the front desk staff was willing to help me since I was traveling solo, and they stored it and then helped me get it back onto my car when it was time to leave, but with all that I didn't get to use it during my stay, which was a big part of the reason for the trip. My only other suggestion would be signs showing which floors the ice machines were located on. Overall I was very pleased with my stay and would definitely recommend it as long as you don't bring a kayak!

It was a good room, but it was noisy outside the door. Every time someone went out the door outside in the hall that leads to the parking deck the door slams. The AC Unit was noisy as well.

Easy check-in, front desk was friendly and accommodating. We left a bag of clothes in the room and they were nice enough to box/ship it to us after we paid the shipping fees. Our 2 queen room had pretty comfortable beds but was a bit cramped. There’s not much space to store your belongings when you have 4 individuals in the room. It’s a bit dated. Tiny fridge w/ no top freezer area. The AC was so loud when it turned on. It would wake us up a few times in the middle of the night each time it kicked back on. The beach front view is amazing. Very close to the pier and not too far from Rudee Inlet. There are two Restaurants right from the lobby. Jumpin Shrimp, fairly priced for seafood and food was very good. The other is a $50 seafood buffet that was just okay. We definitely were not thrilled with the pool. The water was always hazy and all 3 times we checked it out there was no pump running to keep the water circulating and clean??
