Very limited parking for as many rooms at Gateway. The Queen bed was very small, barely fitting two people. The breakfast was a granola bar and coffee. If there was more, they did not refill the supplies, and this was at 0800.

It’s a decent hotel for the price. When we stayed they were painting rooms and the whole place seemed like a construction zone. Looks like they are making upgrades. Should have discounted rooms while it’s happening.

Bed was ok but blankets were thin so we were cold at night. Free breakfast is minimal / luckily restaurants were within walking distance.

We stayed for one night for a volleyball tournament. It was loud as walls and floors are thin. The breakfast was pretty nonexistent and the coffee was gone by 8am…nothing was replenished. It said breakfast went till 9am, so if you snooze you lose at this hotel. We went down the street and got coffee and breakfast burritos instead.

There was no warning that the property was under construction. Also, the place smelled like sewage at random times of the day. For "breakfast" they had some pre-packaged cereal and those danishes you see at Costco. I don't know how they charge $120 a night for this place.

Service was good, but the bed was uncomfortable - hard. Breakfast was minimal to say the least. Not what i expected for a hotel with 8+ rating. It earned its 2 stars

Do to unforseen flight changes, we had to stay a night in Springfield/Eugene. We were extremely pleased that all 5 of us couldstay in the same room.

This property is being renovated while also housing guests in compromised conditions. Angry verbal fighting across the parking lot felt threatening. Lobby locked, we stood outside at a window ledge to sign in & get key. It was raining. Wall next to tub shower sticky oily. Not recommending.

Construction outside as well as heavy traffic area made for a noisy stay, but rooms were very nice and comfortable. Front desk staff very pleasant.

Thankfully, the renovations on the property were not happening that day. But it was a bit much to see the siding off of the whole face of the hotel. I admire that they decided to keep it open despite the mess.

Convenient to lots of choices to eat. A convenience store. Across the street is Gateway Mall. Clean rooms, everyone is very nice.

The carpet was sticky and kind of crunchy at the same time. There were people loitering all around my car after dark and it didnt feel safe to go outside. It was a last minute booking due to a family emergency & we wont stay there again.

The inside smelled like smoke. Stale smell. Except where the front desk was. It smelled good from the air freshener they had. The breakfast was good. Had an alright spread. No complaints.

Obviously each of us will have a different experience, depending on room we get, who the random neighbors are, etc So, my experience was great. From service to comfy bed. My room was great and surprisingly quiet, never heard a thing (#321). Thanks for a good nights sleep on my journey.

We were given 1 hand towel and 1 wash rag for 2 people. The little tube of body lotion was half full so had been used by previous occupants. We did receive extra supplies when we went to the front desk.

Stayed for the week for Junior Olympics at Hayward Stadium, with limited options this property was conveniently located a short drive away. Next door to and across the street from several dining options and a gas station. A block away from the freeway entrance so its easy to get to and from. The room was clean and cleaning staff was friendly. Continental breakfast was available each morning in the small lobby to go.
