We booked/paid 15 min. before our arrival on Hotels.com around 8:50 pm. 10:38 manager called our room asking us to come to front desk and pay them because they did not get payment from Hotels.com. Explained that I have a receipt that said I’ve already paid and not going to pay again. Told them they have to resolve this with Hotels.com but manager said he’s not going to do it and that I have to do so myself. Had to resolve the issue by myself on the phone for 15 minutes. Manager called room again to ask for my phone # at 11:18 pm (unprofessional )!!!! Very basic room with very hard bed and loud heater. Towels are scratchy, no shampoo/conditioner, no hair dryer, no fridge, microwave or coffee maker, Never stayed at a Motel 6 before and will never again!!! You get what you pay for $135. We were passing through Pismo and needed 1 night stay that was not planned.

THE HEATER DID NOT WORK!!! Wrong. Wrong.

The room was fine. But no coffee maker, frig or microwave. Most modest motels have a least a coffee maker and many come with a microwave. Motel 6 seems to have lowered their standards. Dirty and damaged rug outside the door.

It was wonderful V-Day weekend. It rained all weekend w/out a single complaint. It was very peaceful, able to check in/check out with no issues. I will sure return back

We stayed at Motel 6 for a quick New Year get away. I knew because it was an inexpensive choice there wasnt going to be fancy amenities but I didn’t expect to feel unsafe. There were questionable people walking around the motel from the time we got there til when we left the next day. When I was younger the motel was one my family would stay at and where we created fun memories. It saddened me that the motel has changed. If you do stay I would suggest you make sure to get a room in the front where it’s well lit.

It gets cold at night in the 40s and the first room I got the heater blew cold air. They gave me another room and the same blowing cold air and the mattress had a big dent from too many people sleeping on it. Finally changed rooms and the heater was blowing HOT.

The room we got looked nothing like the photos on the website. There was a dirty wash cloth still in the shower. There were hairs on our sheets. The shower control was loose from the wall. The bathroom sink facet was also loose and jiggled around when you used it. Everything looked super old and worn down. The entire bathroom looked like it belonged in a prison. the pillows they provided were atrocious. Nothing welcoming or comfortable about this room. The only redeeming quality is that the mattress was ok and not terrible. I don’t recommend anyone stay here ever.

The blonde lady in the front was very nice and professional. The hotel overall was ok for the prize, but not many utilities, no microwave, no fridge, no blow dryer. Good hotel for a simple stay.

We came for the Clam Festival Weekend. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean our room was. I could smell the bleach when I entered the room. I would have preferred to smell air freshener. The set up was very basic. The towels felt a bit rough on the skin, like it needed fabric softener. If they provided a hair dryer in the room, it would have been the perfect basic room. When my husband went out early in the morning to get coffee, he said there was a homeless person at the top of the stairs using drugs. When he came back up to our room, the man was asleep at the stop of the stairs. Check out was easy. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

Nothing in there.
No hair dryer. No tissue. No tub. No shampoo and conditioner and body lotion.
Only 5 towels 1 night per $157. It’s crazy
And it’s too far from downtown.
It’s terrible.
Upstairs guest just be walking around their room but
It’s too much noise

Though crazy busy in the office, staff were amazingly helpful and friendly.

I was not aware it was a handicap accommodation. The show made a huge mess, due to being wheelchair accessible.

The check-in was fine. The room was about as simple and basic as you can get. A bed, lights, TV, bathroom, A/C, tile floor, and thick curtains. First thing - we were assigned a handicapped room (roll-in shower, low showerhead). No biggie. Didn't care. There must be a dozen handicap rooms and on Saturday night the place was completely full.
I guess the best thing about the place was the lack of problems. No bedbugs, no roaches, no lack of parking, no druggies or homeless within sight, no loud obnoxious people in the hotel. Good lighting and one of the key reasons we chose this place - it was dog friendly. (We brought our old retriever.) I saw/heard only one other dog the whole time.
We don't have plans to ever stay here again, but that's not because of anything negative about the place. We just think there won't be circumstances to bring us back.

The first room shower had mold it and it smelled bad The second room wall underneath the towels had mold and the shower tile was creaking . The room smell bad. I asked for a refund and was told I was gyro have to pay for one night because I had been in the room for two hours. Once I explained why I wasn’t satisfied with neither room, the hotel manager agreed to credit me the full amount and not change me for the one day. I hope they make the necessary repairs.

The room was smelling really bad because they caulked the tub and it was not dry yet, rending it impossible to use! Giving a room to someone when the tub is impossible to use is not the best move! After more than an hour, we finally got a new room (but had too insist they wanted to put us in a smoking room, with a horrible smell!). With the final room, the mattresses were not good, there was rust everywhere in the bathroom and it was not clean! Just go somewhere else, they are really nice hotels for the same price or cheaper few miles away, like in Morel bay for example. Just avoid at all cost!

I requested a non smoking room and the hotel did not have any left when I showed up for check in. The front desk representative was very rude about it also. The rooms are not in good shape.

It was a peasant stay.

Pretty much what you expect for the price. Only 2 major issues one being there was a hole in the shower floor that wasn't supposed to be there and the water goes into and your foot goes into. The place to smell like Mold. Also stayed there for 3 or 4 days with no housekeeping and the reservation said that there was housekeeping So same sheets for the whole stay and we had to go get new towels every day And had to empty our own garbage bins. Also we stayed on the bottom floor in the people above we're dragging furniture around it went on all night but only for one night.

I liked the location of the property. Alot of places to walk to for coffee, grocery store for food and shopping at factory outlet stores. Room was perfect, place to sit and do work on computer.
