Overall, we had a great stay. The food was top-notch and definitely one of the highlights of the hotel. The wine selection was also excellent, with plenty of quality options to choose from. If available, I would definitely recommend doing the all-inclusive package—it offers great value and allows you to fully enjoy everything the hotel has to offer.
The staff was generally friendly and helpful. There were a couple of employees who seemed less enthusiastic, but it appeared to be more of an internal issue and did not significantly affect our stay.
The parking garage is located across the street and is easy to access, although the spaces are quite tight. If you're renting a car, I recommend choosing a smaller vehicle. That said, tight parking is common throughout Madeira.
The hotel is about 40–45 minutes from Funchal, so having a rental car is highly recommended. After exploring the island, I completely agree that renting a car is essential for getting around and seeing everything Madeira has to offer.
The location next to the marina is another big plus, with plenty of restaurant options within walking distance if you want to try something different.
Overall, this is a wonderful hotel with excellent food, a great wine selection, and a convenient base for exploring the island. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was wonderful and very helpful! We loved how close to the beach it was and the night time music. The food was also plentiful and good. The room was cleaned every day.
The beds were not comfortable, and neither were the pillows. The pool stayed really cold, not too many people got into the pool. We also paid for an ocean view and looked at the building across the street.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
