Nice clean room very nice modern style smart tv quite large and nice large bathroom

Great value for money. Very helpful staff. Room was a good size. Breakfast was good value for money but rather slow - fine for us but not great if you are in a rush! Would stay again.

Nice and fairly clean basic room but just loads of little niggles which can just annoy you. Room door didnt close properly due to a missing screw ( would of left the room open if we didnt realise) did rectify the issue immediately. Toilet roll holder fell off immediately. Bathroom door handle wonky. Hole in bedding. Also they were hoovering the reception at midnight which i thought was strange.

Great location for old Trafford visitors only a 10 minute walk. Tram station minutes away to easily get you into the city centre.

Arrived at hotel early expecting to be able to park and check in later on after football game. To my pleasant surprise I was allowed to check in early, at 11:30 which was a great bonus. Hotel is very dated with creaking stairs but room itself was acceptable with a very smart tv!

This hotel has some amazing, original architectural features but is quite ‘tired’ and in need of a refurbishment. Rooms are comfortable but more water came out of the back of the shower head than front. Food in the ‘restaurant’ (bar area) is lovely. Not sure why smoke detector in room was covered? Not a ‘destination’ hotel, but convenient for our purposes.

Former grand hotel/house which has seen better days. Its pretty obvious that it caters for football & cricket fans due to its ideal location for both Old Traffords!

The hotel is in a fantastic location to go to Manchester city centre or stay in Salford. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was also very clean, depsite the faint smell of cleaning chemicals, we knew it was thoroughly cleaned.

A lot of money for not a lot. The room was second class and smells of damp. The furniture and condition of the room is poor in bedsit status. The bathroom was nearly functional. The staff were very pleasant people to talk to. Breakfast was adequate.

Stayed in the cottage area of the hotel in a separate building. The place was uncomfortably warm and had to open all the windows even during the night. Which, being so close to a tram line was incredible noisy. Walls were paper thin and could hear other guests in rooms adjacent.

First of all I'll start by saying the service was good and the shower was amazing but the room itself is a health hazard.
The room hadn't been cleaned, and if it did it wasn't to any standard.
The dust was thick enough to write my name in it, there was no face cloths provided, the bare minimum condiments were provided and didn't cover out stay (1 night) and that's not the worst of it.
The black mold growing around the window and on the full wall of brick underneath is dangerous, the room smells damp as soon as you open the door. The netting at the window also had a fair amount of black mold. This is not suitable for anyone to stay in until it's been sort. I don't usually leave an review at all but this needs to be sorted ASAP

Loved and central hotel suited to our needs. Hotel room was spacious and clean. Only downside for me personally was the room facing main road thus traffic in early morning was disturbing but thats just me as a light sleeper. Breakfast was buffet style and okay. Otherwise good experience

Hotel restaurant was a bit strange, rap music playing in the background, sports bar in the day but people trying to have afternoon tea...think it needs to be one or the other. Rooms are being update and bathroom was fine but the room itself was absolutely freezing and didnt warm up until day 2, carpet was old and worn and room was on a slant. Staff friendly and nice and everything was clean.

The outside miss sells the inside which is rather immaculate and beautiful and clean. The benches outside don’t look Ohio’s and truly representative of the inside and the entrance through reception.

Cottage room was not part of the main building and looked tired. Room was actually ok but there was a sign that clearly stated no smoking and the corridor stank of smoke. Position of room meant the outside light was shining into room overnight. Bathroom was good and the breakfast was great

Excellent room and overall service.
Workers were very nice and respectful.
They helped with all issues and sorted everything out, even gave us late checkout because of our car breaking down.
Recommend this Hotel for the price and customer service, we are very satisfied with our stay and hope to stay again in the future.

Nice and clean the beds were not comfortable as it was 2 single beds made into one bed , there was a dog barking outside for hours and then people just talking really loud we couldn’t sleep the staff was lovely

Fast check in, free room upgrade and good parking. Clean and spacious room. I will consider again in the future. Team stop on a couple of minutes walk away, ideal for getting into Manchester quickly

The excellent rating is for wonderful reception staff. My room wasn't ready at check-in time but they explained why (outwith their control) and offered complimentary drink/food discount etc. which was appreciated but not required. I would definitely stay again.

We was situated in the cottage which is OUTSIDE of the hotel. The place smelt like cigarettes and felt quite unsafe. There was a lot of hair on the pillows and duvet sheets. Wouldn’t visit again.

Pleasant enough stay. Room was very spacious and the beds were huge! Not in the best of areas and hotel was a little run down. That being said, for the price paid it was completely acceptable

The soundproofing in this hotel was horrible, can easily listened what your neighbours was doing.
Also, it’s located next to the metrolink and it might have some disturbances.

Food was good but there us no communication between staff and manager clearly needs getvthus right as our table was reserved but we had no table. The waiters where constantly looking confused and getting orders wrong. But food was worth waiting for. Hitel nice on in side but in a run down area with nothing around it . Clean . Room nice.

I liked the original look of the front of the building, but the rooms were not sound proof, so could here noisy neighbours n the trams. Staff were pleasant and friendly

We stayed in the cottage and it felt very dark and dated, in need of some TLC. It was certainly not a 4 star experience. The breakfast was good, although the coffee not great! It was very full though so felt perhaps there was something we were missing. Would stay again as it is convenient for visiting family but would try the main building next time!

Clean and well presented. The room wasn't ready on check in. We were offered an alternative room as we had a party very soon after check in. The room was smaller than expected but clean. Bed was two singles put together. It felt like we were rolling into the gap all night. For a one night stay, it was okay. Felt like a lot of money for a very small space.

Bed was very uncomfortable and TV was small .. room was ok - relatively clean. Bathroom was clean as was shower. For the price it was acceptable.
