It was a great family stay. I didn’t want to leave. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Pool and hot tub were great. Kids enjoyed the playground and game room. We will definitely be back.

last minute weekend getaway over easter weekend. Very accommodating as we travel with 2 service dogs. We where notifed the night before that our room would be ready and that we could check in any time after 9 am. Normally check in is 4 pm.fully stocked kitchen made easter dinner a breeze.

It wasn’t the best stay. We’ve stayed several times and had great visits so we had high expectations. We stayed for 3 nights and for the first two, we were sandwiched in between a group of rooms booked by a group. They had all the doors open as they
bounced back and forth in between the rooms like it was a college keg party. Their kids were in the hallway playing football into the night making it hard for our kids to fall asleep. The hotel did send a representative by to tell them to stop but it persisted over the 2 nights. The hotel did accommodate with a room change on the last night and that salvaged part of our trip. Will be back but will ensure we are not on a floor with a group booking as it looked more like a frat house than a hotel for the 2 nights we were there.

We have stayed at this property since my kids were little. Many special memories here. It is always a clean and pleasant stay. The staff is helpful and courteous. Appreciate the complimentary, coffee, tea and hot cocoa and movie rental services. Hard to beat the proximity to Jiminy Peak.

This was our fourth stay at Vacation Village. We keep coming back because we like the peace & serenity of the surrounding area. Our room was clean (so we thought) and neat upon arrival, with anything we could need provided - dish soap, dishwasher tabs, paper towels, etc. Our room this time didn’t have an oven, which was fine as we didn’t have the need for one but definitely something to keep in mind! Pool was clean and warm, hot tub was great! Bed was comfy, bathroom is huge with a stand up shower and his & hers jetted tub. Great water pressure, and the tap water is delicious here :).
However - while getting ready to leave we had to move a night stand to get to the outlet behind it unplug in our chargers. Once the night stand was moved, my fiancée stepped on a large shard of broken glass slicing his foot. There were pieces of broken glass all behind the nightstand and bed (which then made me question how well the room was actually cleaned). Luckily we didn’t have any kids with us which could have been a disaster. He did mention the cut/broken glass to the woman at the desk upon checkout but she was incredibly indifferent and unapologetic.
Ultimately, I’m not sure if this will keep us away in the future, because we do like the property otherwise - but it definitely put a damper on our experience overall.
Also - There aren’t a ton of options for food in the area unless you drive into Pittsfield but what is there is great. Olde Forge & Blueberry Hill Cafe are our standbys

So I came to spend a weekend alone. (2 nights) The bed was like sleeping on a rock, I got no sleep for night. Then went to use the coffee maker, there was no sugar or creamer. There was no shampoo or conditioner. For the cost of the room, wasn't worth it. If price was lower I wouldn't be as upset. Then found out they add another $20 "resort fee". For what??? Then i went to cook my food i purchased and it was totally infested with ants. All over the counters and everything else. I have been to better rooms with more things for less cost. I left a night early. I won't be coming back.

we loved how spacious the apartment was and all the amenities that were provided. We were surprised how wonderfully kept the resort is. My only complaint is that there was dust on most surfaces such as the lamps and places that housekeeping probably doesn't pay attention to on a daily basis. Also, I was surprised there was no shampoo available as I had forgotten my travel pack but did have conditioner with me. Overall, a great stay. can't wait to return with the rest of our family and use the many amenities this resort has to offer!

Beautiful electric fireplace in the room. The resort added a $10 resort fee which I wasn't aware of ahead of time. I also didn't realize that the room didn't have a garbage and that I would have to bring the garbage out to the exterior door. The glass slider on our shower was broken and didn't open or close easily.

I came to visit Rensselaer County, the home of my ancestors since before the American Revolution. Monday morning’s talk on Berkshire county was very enlightening and provided me with additional attractions and activities that enhanced my stay. Thank you for a beautiful vacation.

lovely condo - kitchen could use a few more utensils (garlic press, wooden spoons, etc.) - we cooked our dinner. Also it would be nice if one of the TVs was a smart TV so we could use our streaming services.

My girlfriend and I stayed overnight at the resort on Saturday, 10/14, for our anniversary. We had reserved the Deluxe Suit and found shortly that the jacuzzi tub jets were not turning on. I called the front desk and they sent over maintenance quickly. He tried his best to fix it, but after 30 min had no luck. He said he'd offer to switch rooms but the resort was booked full and said to contact you directly for some kind of compensation. I also want to note the following morning we were surprised that the room did not come with shampoo or conditioner and to boot my girlfriend discovered the blow dryer did not work. While none of these things are world ending, the dissatisfaction for not getting everything we paid for is still there. I will say that every staff member I encountered was wonderful and easy to communicate with!

This place is beautiful. The room was very comfortable and clean. Lots of space. We really like the indoor pool and the amenities. The hotel is in a mountain, so there is not much to do around it. The closet restaurant is about 10 mins drive. But overall we had a great time

The guests next door left their dog while they were out which resulted in a barking situation. I expressed my concern to the front desk and they moved us to a quieter room.

This was my second time visiting VV. Everything was clean, including the bathroom by the pool. The option of texting the front desk was super convenient, especially when i decided to extend my stay for an additional night. I will definitely be returning!

Check in staff were friendly, welcoming, Condo was perfect, fireplace was an added bonus , love everything about Vacation in the Berkshires, will be returning for a fall visit.Highly recommend.

Terrible check-in. Room not ready at 4:00 even though check-out is 5 or 6 hours earlier. Check-in staff is slow and inefficient. Room had problems that should have been fixed, such as a leaking toilet mechanism and a broken light fixture.

Rooms (suites) are plenty big, however. They need updating. Huge bathroom lighting is very dim for a bathroom. Shower tub had no drain plug. Bedroom could use new mattress. Kitchen refrigerator moved away from wall every time you opened and closed. At one point I pushed back at least 12 inches towards the wall. Frying pan for hot plate did not work. Had to use a pot to cook eggs. Outside doors entering the building did not close properly. Pool had a lot of sand in it. Our bathroom sink was completely clogged. Maintenance took care of it once reported. However, you would think the cleaning crew would have noticed maintenance instead of waiting for me to have to contact. It certainly would have been noticed during Cleaning the vanity prior to us arriving.

Rooms continue to look extremely dated with no improvements over the last several years, front desk staff continues to be rude no matter who you get and it’s just no longer worth what they ask you to pay. There is a very nice condo resort across the street which I would recommend rather than this one.

This was our second time staying here. The property is great. Very well maintained and clean. The rooms were perfectly clean. Bed linens are super white. The pools are super nice and perfect for both rain and sun weather conditions. We can’t wait to be back.

When I go back to this area, I will be staying somewhere else - unless this place gets a significant overhaul.
The front lobby is quite nice, the pools are lovely, it's great to have a playground and swings even if they are older.
We stayed in a suite on the ground floor of a unit (an A unit). There was a jacuzzi in the master bedroom - one row of tiles and then carpeting. There was a humidity issue and a smell of mold/mildew when laying on the bed - I woke up several times with a sore throat and congestion which went away when I left that room.
One of the flat sheets had bloodstains on it - laundered bloodstains admittedly but it's still a bit of a surprise. The mattresses are saggy and the fan next to the shower is loud and the light attached is dim. The floor is bouncy in places. The room had some trash and leftover water wings in it when we arrived. There was trash on the slope next to the porch. The entire building seems to have settled as there were cracks above the door frames and every door had a slant to it (they did still close but there was a half inch gap on the top of each door).
You can't really hear your neighbors though you can tell when they use hot water since the unit holds the hot water heater for that group of suites. You can hear some noise from the ceiling from the people above.
Like I said, with a significant overhaul, this place would be quite nice.
