Room was OK. Check in indicated, with a menu, that dinner could be procured at the hotel. After a couple of drinks, we went down to find three drunks and no service or food service. Glad we had brought our own snacks! To sum it up, three desk services were crap, and that’s a poor reflection on Double Tree. On our return we stayed in an Aloft in Greenville SC and were quite happy. Get your act together in Augusta.

Terrific service at guest check in. John was friendly, engaging and acknowledged the incoming guests immediately. Upon trying to get to our 4th floor room, the elevator 5th floor light was on. This caused an issue when trying to get back to the lobby/dining lounge. Service in the bar was the best she could do. One tender for the bar when it was full and very busy with food orders. She remained friendly, helpful and courteous.

This property is not up to Doubletree standards. It is old and not up to par for the price. First room I checked into the air unit not working… should have been checked prior to making the room available. Restaurant not open? Thursday night and no one here?!

Property is horribly outdated. The smell of wet dirty air is overwhelming. The thermostat in the rooms does not work, and the temperature actually got hotter the lower we set the temperature. There was feces all over the bottom of the toilet seat, and other peoples hair was everywhere in the room. To top it all off, my entire family got sick no doubt from our stay.

The elevator broke Saturday night the night desk woman light skinned dark dark hair was extremely rude about where the other elevator was and the elevator i finally found was disgusting it has some sort of white sause was very very gross

The bathroom was tiny, the carpets in the hall were dirty and the in-room AC was very loud.

This place is worn out and needs an upgrade. The room smelled strange the curtains were stained. When we returned from dinner there was a muffin and muffin wrapper in the hallway in the middle of the floor. When I woke up in the morning, it was still there. Not good.

Was a nice stay . When we first got there and went to our room the door was open and the toilet was not clean. There was poop and toilet paper all in the toilet . Had to go back down and they changed our room. Overall was a nice stay.

The best thing about this hotel is the front desk staff which is amazing but it ends about there. The towels in our room were dirty so we switched them out with the front desk. The shower head was falling out of the wall and the shower/tub knob literally fell off every time we turned it on or off. The floors in the hall were stained and on the weekend nights, we were woken up around 3 AM to loud guests in other rooms (not the hotel's fault). The breakfast buffet was wanting and the hotel is in need of an update all around. Again the staff was amazing and accommodating but that was about it. The photos on the website definitely oversell this property.

Had 2 consecutive reservations. Was told when I checked in it would be no problem, I would stay in the same room and just get the key updated. The front desk people were nice, but couldn’t figure out how to do it. They both called their supervisor to correct the missing room “in the system,” and the supervisor never responded. I finally had to pack up everything and change rooms because they simply couldn’t get a key for my first room. I wasted so much time with them trying to find a key. There are exactly 2 small lamps in the rooms, so everything is dark. Can’t open the curtains because my window looked out into the hallway where other customers passed by, not outside. No refrigerator or microwave in the room. The bed was comfortable, but not worth the money I spent for 3 nights.

The front desk crew was amazing. They were very polite and professional. However, the bartender was not clean and reused glasses from patrons while taking the ice scooper and actually re-inserting it in the ice and then into used glasses from customers. We saw her take juice bottles and lay them directly on the rim of used glasses to refill customer's drinks. I'm sure she is spreading disease. They need a safety inspection by way of a secret shopper. Also, the hotel is in disrepair. Our first room had mold. We were moved. The hotel is completely run down and not up to Doubletree standards. We spent just under $200.00 for one night for a Motel 6 quality hotel. They should be ashamed. I'll never stay there again and recommend others stay away.

My check in experience was the worst in life! The communication between the reservation specialist and the hotel was horrible. I’m in pain suffering from back issues and has to wait over an hour to get a room plus had yo pay more money for incidentals that I wasn’t told about. All the monies we spent didn’t add up to the quality received. I was so frustrated I didn’t make it an issue but I will not be returning.

The customer service was amazing. The staff was super kind from front desk to cleaning service. The hotel needs alittle love our sink was cracked the tub was cracked. No mini fridge. Other than that it was nice.

The check in was fast and efficient. The cookies tasted delicious. Checking out it was multiple people standing at the desk talking and it took a minute to be acknowledge. I was never asked how my stay was checking out.Upon entering the room when the air came on it smelt like vinegar. In the shower one of the bottle tops was off and to the side.The inside of the shower I unfortunately noticed after sleeping in the bed that it was a orange yellow stain on the end of the sheet. It was quite disgusting.
