It was in a nice area The hotel was dated and breakfast only average. The staff were friendly and the pool area was nice .

Overall, our stay at florasol was decent. Room is nothing special. Relatively clean, but older rooms with poor air quality. Some more things should be updated in the room for improvement (very old microwave, rusty mirror, etc.). Be aware that parking at this hotel is limited.

O apart hotel é espaçoso e muito bem localizado, no entanto os móveis da roupa e da cozinha tinham um cheiro muito desagradável o que não permitiu que fizemos refeições no mesmo. A falta de gerador no hotel também não foi uma boa experiência, pois estar num 10'andar e faltar a iluminação total durante mais de 25min não foi agradável.

Nous avons passé un bon séjour, personnel très agréable ,l'appartement fonctionnel avec une belle vue, mais malheureusement nous avons eux des blattes le seul bémol de ntre séjour.

The hotel is in a good location near to the Lido complex and on the regular bus route into Funchal. Spotlessly clean in the room, lobby and the pool area. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

The hotel is in a great location, very close to Lido, there is a supermarket very close by and lots of restaurants too. We walked from the hotel to the centre of Funchal in 1 hour and it was a very pleasant walk too. We had a great sea and swimming pool view from our room. We had an infant and the room and hotel were very good to accommodate his needs, we can only fault one thing, in the breakfast area there was only 1 baby chair and we only managed to use it on the last day as the rest of the days it was already being used. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will totally stay again in this hotel.

The property was beautiful. The only thing I would have liked was a small table inside to eat from. The one outside was great, but not nice to eat outside if weather is cold. Mostly a great place.

Very friendly hotel that represented excellent value for money. Breakfast buffet provided a good start to the day with an egg station providing freshly cooked omelettes and fried or scrambled eggs. Home baked bread was fabulous. Whilst room was a bit dated it was kept spotlessly clean and the shower was hot and powerful. Catering facilities were fine but a rather more extensive range of equipment would have been welcome. A brand new toaster arrived two days before we left. The lack of a well supported bar in the evening was a bit disappointing but there are so many bars and restaurants nearby that this isn’t a serious issue. Staff were all very helpful and cheerful from the maids to the restaurant and reception staff. Would definitely stay here again if wanting to combine modest self catering with dining around.

Very comfortable studio with everything you would need. A lovely balcony with partial sea view and nice pool area. The hotel is in a good location for walking and public transport.

Great location friendly staff and excellent price,what more do you need

The place is immaculate. The gardens are beautiful & well maintained. Our 3 room suite had everything you could ask for or need. Breakfast was always great. Staff at the front desk were helpful. This was our second time at the hotel & we are already talking about our next time!

The only downsides were no air-conditioning and no radio options on the satellite tv. Both minor.

The swimming pool is kept in pristine condition although not heated the weather makes it imperative to cool off and once in you soon warm up! The surround has lots of loungers and you can have a mattress and a sunshade - just ask or help yourself if you know how to put it up. Fish and chips snack bar item was really tasty and not too expensive at 6.50 euros.lovely apartment consisting of bedroom, sitting dining room and kitchenette and bathroom.and the view was superb. Lovely Vera dress with chairs and table. Location very good. Near Lido and bust stop.restaurants bars etc. Entertainment is on Wed and Fri, but not too exciting. That does not matter as there is a lot going on in the area. Your holiday can be an nice restful time with warm Weather guaranteed. Lots to see on the island but it can add up in expense so decide which trips you want to go on and beware they do not all go everyday so plan it on your first day there or you might miss what you want to see. Casino for those with urges, Music lovers also are taken care of. Being old I did not notice any place for young people who like clubs for dancing. Some hotels cater for dancers which is rather more sedate. Sailing and sport is very popular. Boat trips diving etc is also available. I loved the place and was very happy with my choice of accommodation and ate at lots of different places, some expensive some very cheap. Hope this helps lots of walking if you wish. Food is fantastic And varied, friendly people.
