Brilliant Stay, Clean Room, Shop/Cafe was always well stocked with lovely staff. Extremely reasonable value, would definitely return.

The apartments are very clean, modern and well equiped. Also the staff is really friendly and helpful. We would come back in the future!

Very comfortable bed, I fell asleep very easily and even woke up later than I wanted to because I slept super well!

Centrally located for all amenities, very good communication from the hosts, good breakfast and clean and tidy apartment.

Always first choice for me and my girlfriend when we visit Funchal and we have to stay overnight for the new years. Great location, price and hotel; couldn't recommend it enough.

Room was clean and well looked after. Location is good too - glad we stayed here!

Overall nice. Central. Clean. A little kitchenette. The big but was a stench from the sewer in the bathroom and no real ventilation in the bathroom.

Great location, very clean, well maintained property. Room felt a bit stuffy at times but no big deal, it was warm. And could do with a couple more pillows! But other than that, it was a great stay. Good little shop downstairs for drinks etc too

We really enjoyed our stay at the Paraiso. Great central location close to everything. Very clean and well maintained hotel and rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice little cafe / grocery store on the first level that had everything we needed at a very reasonable price. It was the perfect place for us to stay.

Stayed there a month, apartment although compact had everthing that was needed, very convenient for l Bus services, serviced every day, staff nice. Would go back.

The hotel was very clean - even the towels smells really good 😊 I will definitly stay here another time!! And the location was perfect - with the supermarket/cafe/bar at the ground floor. The airportbus-stop was 20 meter from the reception of the hotel. All in all - perfect 😊

Can’t fault this apartment. One improvement will be to offer a fan as there is no air conditioning. It was hot and I could not leave the window open as on lower floor. It’s great that they have a corner for business work with a PC and printer set up. The printer didn’t work. No complains. All good and top rating. Highly recommend. Good value.

Excellent location nice modern clean accomodation with a very nice convienance and cafe shop street level. Very happy customer.

The hotel was fantastic. The staff was nice and helpfull and even the cleaning ladies were incredible nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

It was a very clean hotel and very modern design in its room, the reception was very helpful, they even gave me an umbrella in a rainy day. Very good internet signal, supermarket right under your room, there is also a bus station right in front of the hotel for those who want to use it to go down town and most importanly return to the hotel with it. I have read some comments for it before the renovation that where no good, but now the hotel is totally defferent and in a good area surrounded by other hotels tour operations and a lot of restaurants , I have enjoyed my stay at this hotel, I recommend it

Just returned from these apartments. Pluses & minuses in all areas; rare level location; easy walk to Pingo Doce supermarket & cafe (nearby restaurants expensive). On busy bus route so well connected but some road noise. 4 parking spaces but no other free parking nearby. Comfy reception lounge & bar (closes 9pm) & wi-fi (none in apartments). Lift to all floors including roof sun terrace. Tiny, shabby & under-equipped kitchenette with only twin hob for cooking. There was enough wall space for a microwave so pity this not provided. Also no wine glasses, ice cube tray or serving spoon. We managed, but it was a bit like caravanning. The bathroom was dated & our shaver light & socket didn't work but to be fair we forgot to report it. No toiletries or tooth mugs were provided but it had a full complement of fluffy towels and we liked having our own water heater - no more tepid showers at peak times. The bedroom we did like; fairly comfortable twin beds, plenty of storage, sliding patio doors to east facing balcony. Several English language programmes on the cable TV but only a scart socket (if you are thinking of using it to show your own recordings), two armchairs & a small table. We could not fault the housekeeping. The price of these apartments reflects the fact they need updating and overall we thought our studio was good value for money, but a few simple & cheap additions would make a huge improvement.
