Hotel des Arts was a positive surprise as the pictures of the hotel at time of the reservation were not that attractive. Service at reception was friendly and helpful, recently renovated rooms were spacious and in excellent condition, including also the bathroom. The only small minus comes from bed comfort which leaves room for improvement. Continental breakfast was typical and quite OK.

We had a lovely one night stay. Hotel was quiet, clean and comfortable and they were willing to store our bikes inside for the night.

No air conditioner or proper soundproofing. We heard everything from the hall to the room and our room was next to the breakfast so it was noisy when people were going back and forth. During the summer room is hot. And there is no fridge in the room so it’s also a small minus. Breakfast was simple but still okay, Swiss cheese and quality apple juice etc.

Very clean and modern room, comfortable bedding. Very quiet (room overlooked courtyard) good bathroom, good breakfast, free parking just outside, efficient check-in and check-out. Excellent value for money. Would re-book without hesitation.

Very well located at the lakeside promenade, with public parking outside the building but with free pass from the hotel. Big bathroom in a clean and quiet room with a narrow balcony and view over the internal neighborhood courtyard. Didn't have breakfast offered for CHF 15.-- p.p. but would stay here again.

Extremely noisy if you stay on first floor. Windows are well isolated but not the main door, in the morning you hear all the noise from the breakfast. The shower doors were broken and the bed linens were yellowish.

Right by Lac Neufchâtel and just around the corner a great Crêperie Buck and … Parking was included and right down the street so really easy. They give you a card reader and you just go park 1 minute away.

Great hotel, great location, great price. Would recommend, without hesitation. We stayed in a room with two beds and a pull out couch and it worked very well for our family. We also appreciated the tourist book, we took the boat ride, and really enjoyed it.

We arrived in the morning and the room was ready! Easy walking distance from the train station and everything we wanted to see. Giant, comfy room. Was great for the two of us and would still be comfortable for the whole family.

Unique to me was the way they handled my booking. I made a mistake and came a few days later. They had 1 room left which actually was an upgrade. They did not take advantage of my mistake, gave me the upgrade at the same conditions as booked initially incl. breakfast !!! Their customer friendliness is second to none ...

We had a small, clean room with twin beds (we prefer a Queen -- which they don't have), but the price was right. I'd stay there again. The staff spoke excellent English and and were very helpful.
