The rooms are very small, our shower didn’t drain and the bath stopper was rusted and got stuck once it was able to close.
There is also no room as a community space to hang out. The lobby is small and there are no spaces when you have more than 5 people.

Went to the Lied Hotel for a weekend away. Upon arriving, the property was very clean and well maintained. Check in was very easy. The staff was friendly and polite. The room was very clean and comfortable. The view was beautiful as we had a view of the J Sterling mansion at a distance. The walls were "thin" as we were able to hear the crying children next door. The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious and plentiful. The experience was that of fine dining. The restaurant staff were wonderful. Overall, we had a wonderful weekend in a beautiful hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel to others who need a weekend away.

My family and I have been coming to the Lied Lodge for over 25 years. We love it. It's our getaway from Lincoln -- one of our absolute favorite places on earth. The dining options this past visit, though, were a huge disappointment. I've never seen such a 'meat-centric' menu, and for a vegetarian/vegan like myself, there was hardly ANYTHING to choose from. Also, the Timber Room used to spotlight 'Local Foods' it had sourced. We saw no evidence on the menu that the Lied Lodge is still seeking to source local products... And promoting all that meat (rather than plant-based dishes) was a shock (as well as well as a disappointment). We love the Arbor Day Foundation for its emphasis on the environment and sustainability. The dining options need to reflect that sensitivity (as it has in the past and hopefully will again soon). Thank you.

We have stayed at the Lied Lodge at least one time a year for the last 20 years and we love the ambiance that is there. It is a beautiful property, and the staff is always so kind. Dining at the lodge is not so great, but decent enough. The views are gorgeous.

Was a wonderful time.The place was beautiful for Christmas and fireplaces where roaring rooms nice and clean with soft bed and pillows and the most helpful and friendly staff around.

Beautiful lodge. Rooms were nice. Closet space was lacking because of how the closet was organized. Walls were pretty thin, we could hear neighbors pretty easily. Housekeeping was pretty loud around 8:30 am.

Poor noise reducing insulation.
You will clearly hear kids in the pool, neighbors talking and tv in adjoining rooms, talking and kids running up/down the hallway.

A very beautiful area and lodge. The lodge was quiet and staff pleasant . The Timber dinning was delicious also with courteous staff. The dinner dining was upscale as far as presentation and taste.

This property is a beautiful getaway. Unfortunately, they denied us initially because their system made our Expedia reservation for the wrong day. After some frustration, we showed them our Expedia reservation, and they found us a room. After checking into the room, we found it was right next to the elevator, and the dinging was non-stop. We asked to be moved and finally settled in an excellent room away from the elevator.

The named trees and shrubs added a unique element to my experience. The cathedral-like central space along with the rustic beams created a lasting memory.

It's really a hidden secret of Nebraska. The hotel's setting is fantastic with the walking trails, & walkable to the Arbor Lodge, winery, Tree Adventure. Sitting outside for a campfire & smores was (:

Our girl trip was great!
There were a couple of loose bolts in the room. Minor fixes.
We were happy to see recycling bins, just needed a glass bin.
We loved the hotel & the Timbers Restaurant. I suspect we’ll be back.

It was a beautiful property and close to attractions

Stayed a couple of days to explore Nebraska City. The hotel was very clean and comfortable with very little noise heard in the room. The restaurant was amazing! The grounds around were beautiful and well kept giving a park-like feel. The parking was a bit of a bear.
