Nice hotel. I definitely recommend this hotel. The staff was great and very pleasant and helpful. There is a hamburger place just across the street.

Hotel was good. Nice. Clean. Staff was amazing. Lots of drunk folks banging around and hollering after 2am… not the hotels fault obviously but very annoying.

Sleeping in the room there was no air flow for the side of the bed closest to the door. Very hot uncomfortable sleep no matter how cold i made the room

Port Aransas and specifically the Holiday Inn is two blocks from the beach on the Gulf of Mexico. Great restaurants nearby.

Nearly empty hotel during off season and they put everyone in one section, so it was very noisy. Please space out the rooms so we don’t have to hear the neighbors. Breakfast options were sparse. Minimal fruit options. Pancake machine didn’t work.

Hotel was amazing. Controlled temperature in each room. Weather was cold but room was spacious and comfy. The front desk staff were courteous & helpful.

I like the property a lot. Most of the staff was indifferent to us being there. There was one person who was warm and welcoming at check in. The other person had to make sure we knew who was in control. Also when you book a room for three people and there is a sleeping sofa to be used can we have the bedding in the room? Instead of having to go back down and get it after a long day at work and a four hour drive. Or even give it At check in.

The 2nd nite electric went off a 1 AM….person working at desk was clueless and could not reach management…I sleep with a Cpac and well I ended up leaving around 3AM….the whole area had electricity except for the hotel… I just feel like they should have had some kind of protocol in place.

Had to have our room changed due noisy air conditioner. Second room had issues with toilet valve sticking and not filling up toilet tank. Otherwise nice building, very clean and modern.

We came for a family trip to the beach. The check in guy was not friendly at all. The ice machine was broke on the floor we were staying on, our toilet seat was broken in our room, the curtains wouldn’t close all the way so we had bright light shining in our room all night, the pull out couch mattress had blood stains or something red all over it and to make it worse the pancake machine was out of order for breakfast the next day. The breakfast sausage was burnt so hardly edible. We wanted to get a late checkout so we could go on a family fishing excursion but would be back by noon, the evening guy informed me that they don’t do any late check outs for any reason because it makes it difficult to wash linen and clean rooms. I was very disappointed, we’ve always been able to delay check out at Holiday Inn at least for an hour or so and because everything else was so terrible you would think they would do some type of accommodation to help make up for it. I won’t be staying at this hotel again

First time staying here and we loved it!! It’s very clean and nice . Would definitely stay here again! Only thing that could be improved was the breakfast. Food was not very tasty. Only had egg white omelet, turkey sausage, pork sausage and egg n cheese omelet. All very blan, no flavor. Also had oatmeal but it was good either. Staff was awesome!! Very nice and helpful

Clean beds, the sheets were extremely white and comfortable. The room didn't smell and the air conditioner actually cooled very well. The man at the front desk was friendly and very efficient, check in was easy and quick. Saturday night was noisy however; a bar nearby plays kareoke until late at night, you can hear the upstairs neighbor walking all night and the loud next door neighbor conversation, the toilet didn't flush, I had to use the trash can to fill the toilet in order to flush it, and the restroom floor was a bit dirty. There were enough towels and shampoo for 3 people in a 2 Queen bedroom. The queen beds were smaller in size than my own queen bed at home. I couldn't open the window to let the light in in the morning without people looking right into my room from the ground floor, there were no shades only curtains. Overall an okay experience, over $300 for a night for 2 beds, wished the floor was cleaner and the toilet actually flushed, is all.

Front desk clerk at check-in was not it. Super unfriendly and unengaging. Despite our pleases and thank yous he was stoic at best. There was a small roach in our bathtub. We went down to the pool area, and it was not the cleanest. There was this big planter next to the pool. Huge roaches and little ones were crawling in and out from in between the plants and running around the edge of the planter. I didn't want to complain because I thought , "What can he do about it now?" I went in to ask check-in guy for some pool towels, and he said he would bring some out. I went back outside and just as I was telling my husband that he was bringing towels out a huge roach was on my shoulder! When guy came out I informed him about the roach in my room, the ones on the planter, and the one on my shoulder, and he didn't respond at all! He just put the towels in the cabinet and walked away. I felt terrible. I didn't want to be that woman that complained at all. I was always very polite to him, and so his disregard to our discomfort really hurt. It really soured our overnight stay especially as we hadn't been to the coast in ten years. We will not be staying here again.

Yes the trip was excellent. They give so much information about the near places. Also have a lot of triptics about the stuff you can do. The lunch or breakfast was good and the pool was in excellent conditions

The customer service was spot on. Very friendly. Convenient location and close to the beach. My room was okay. Didn’t cool down enough to be comfortable through out the night. Bathroom had some “hair” still in the shower/bath and the floors were kinda dirty. Coffee in the room wasn’t fresh. Creamer was old. Sounds like a lot but all in all it was a fine stay. Simple little things that bothered me but would stay again.

Holiday Inn has definitely gone down hill a bit. The hotel floor we were on seemed to not have working air in the hallways though there was working air in the rooms. The room smelled of mold and the bathroom was not the cleanest. There was visible mold in the tub and on the ceiling and in all the corners. Lastly, the lady that was watching the breakfast area was very rude and loud about it. When I was beginning I grabbed a tray for my kids to put their plates on and she literally yelled “uh uh uh!!!! No no no no!!!!! Trays are for taking food back to your room so put it back this ain’t Luby’s!!!” She continued to be bossy and rude to everyone who came in and I was very surprised that the property employed someone like that. Overall it was close to the beach and the sheets were clean which was mainly why we went so if you’re just looking for somewhere to get the job done and cleanliness isn’t a big deal then this is your place.

At first I overlooked a few stains in the carpet and some spots on the wall. Once e returned back late to the room I noticed my toilet not cleaned ugh and there was roaches in the bathroom. I can’t even sleep!!!!!

Property is in a good location and clean enough. Staff is lacking. Couldn't give ideas on what to do or where to eat. Also locked us out of the room the last day even though the room was paid in full for that day as well. Had to wait for the one ad only staff member to meet us upstairs to check my id that was in the room. Also had fire alarms going off one morning that finally drove us to leave the hotel an hour earlier than planned and later were told they just had to disconnect them and they were doing fire checks once an hour. (not sure how with the limited staff) You have to request room cleaning each day. Breakfast was mediocre at best. If I hadn't paid $900 for 3 nights I might not have expected more.

Front desk staff were nice and accommodating. When my Husband & I were getting breakfast we were scolded by the lady whom preps food, very disrespectful. We are 47 yrs old, NOT children, and with my Hubby having severe PTSD thanks for triggering and ruining our day!! Ridiculous!

Everything was pretty good for the most part, only draw back was the A/C system wasn’t working that well at first. Took a long time to cool down the room until I pulled the filters out of the A/C and had to wash them off. They were super dirty. Displeased I had to do maintenance on the A/C unit when I was there for vacation.

Checked in was quick. Got to the room sat there for a few mins. Started to want to charge my devices wall plug was dripping water out of it i told receptionist he came to take a look saw it and said he would dry it. I asked to be moved which he did then that room he moved us to was smaller beds room and dirty carpet dirty sink and that coffee machine was super dusty we couldn't use it We were tired i didnt want to bother receptionist again w/it so when tried to rest our door seemed would get open every time other guest were opening or closing their doors. People in other rooms were loud slaming and running upstairs from us... pillows were not comfortable at all and beds were dirty i felt it with my feet while in bed.. disgusting. People in the pool till late hours. And parking lot had water running from the pool ...
