Stay was fantastic when we got and checked in she gave me a free upgrade to a bigger suite. The room was clean, comfortable quiet, hotel staff was amazingly friendly and professional. I will definitely go back and stay again.

Beyond a comfortable suite, staff were excellent! Front-desk people were helpful, friendly and remembered me and my circumstances. Breakfast room staff were friendly and efficient.

Very convenient location to UMASS. Hotel is dated and there was no housekeeping. Hallways do not smell fresh.

Corridors needed serious vacuuming Suite was very tired looking , tv not working , towels quite worn .and surfaces did not feel very clean . Bed was comfortable enough . HVAC unit was noisy and never shut off . The four double hung windows not fully latched . So cold air draft as well Yet staff was lovely and attentive .

I was a little worried about staying here after reading all the negative reviews. This hotel is absolutely fine. It’s clean, comfortable and was quiet. The rooms could definitely use updating, yet it was still very nice.

This property is housing migrants. The hallways have a terrible odor. The staff is nice and we enjoy the pool. The rooms are nice just avoid the halls and migrants.

The furniture was ripped. The couch you could not even sit on without pilling all of the cushions on the seat part. The chair at the desk was broken and almost threw me on the floor. TV remote in the main room on 3/4 of the buttons worked. When we asked to have them clean the room they only replaced the towels and made the bed. They did not empty the garbage which was full or vacuum the rug. The room was clean when we first got there. Staff was friendly.

Everything was great but we had to get maintenance to fix some small things in the room but it was handled on the spot and corrected in no time. Loved breakfast options. Very modern.

Pros: staff is amazing and the manager is accommodating. Eric and Hannah helped anytime I needed anything. Eric also gave me some numbers for take away (dont use grub hub, they left my food on the floor outside and it was stolen). The front desk guys came up to investigate the booming and door slamming when I complained (it was the maid in the next room). The drive to St Vincent hospital is less than 15 min. UMass is closer. The washer and dryer was nice (there are 3 washers and 6 dryers). The front desk can sell you quarters to do your laundry, but i would bring my own just in case, nothing is really close by. Cons: constant door slamming, when it's next door, it shakes the walls. Kids running like heathens in the halls. One kid was coughing and snotting and touching everything at the breakfast counter. The beds are extremely uncomfortable and so are the flat pillows. The cleaners are terrible at their jobs. Both rooms i stayed in had hair in the tub. The bedding was stained and the tubmat had mold under it that floated into my bath water. Many of the other guests were low income looking. If you are in Worcester for business go somewhere else. This hotel caters to families and many will rent the room for the weekend for the express purpose of using the pool. It is EXTREMELY easy to end up in the ghetto from here. Ask the front desk where to go for food and such. Do not just Google a place. I ended up in the hood 4 times. This part of Worcester is nasty.

Lots of food odors in the hallways. Lots of crying children audible in the hallways. Pull out couch mattress was stained in several places. No linens available for pull out couch. Would not recommend or stay again.

The stay was good, but restaurant service was horrible, I was given the wrong type of toast and it was a problem changing it. My husband had to speak to front desk. It was unbelievable.

We first discovered The Residence Inn on Plantation Street in Worcester, MA in 2017. With family and friends in central Massachusetts, The Residence Inn is not just fantastic due to location, location, location but also due to access. The Residence location allows EASY commutes to ALL of Wormtown's 7 Hills, the BRIGHT LIGHTS of Boston and the incredible, surrounding more rural communities. The Residence provides ALL the amenities of "home" with FULL-SIZED Kitchenettes with table and chairs and relaxing area which includes Sofa Bed plus an indoor pool, exercise room, laundry room, lobby gathering space complete with a bar area and pool table, basketball court, dog park.........surrounded by a quiet tree rimmed hillside. I saved the BEST for last: Breakfast is the BOMB! The Residence Inn management team is committed to 5 STAR CUSTOMER SERVICE, with an eye to upgrading and improvement. Our 2023 five day stay was COMFORTABLE, RELAXING and ENJOYABLE thanks to the ENTIRE STAFF of The Residence Inn! See you next time!

I have never felt so unsafe at a Residence Inn as at this one. The hotel smelled like skunk weed and people were smoking weed and cigarettes at every exit. A woman with 2 aggressive pitbulls was allowed to stay there. Awful stay! Awful management! I hated it!

I opened the door to a depressing grey and tan decor - and a FILTHY carpet. I instantly got onto my computer - to try to book something else - but holiday weekend there was nothing reasonable. Positive side - wonderful breakfast included and nice pool.

Pros: Check-in was smooth. Staff are really friendly. Cons: My sheets hadn't been changed from the last guest (you could see the creases and hairs from where they lay), so I got clean sheets and changed them myself. The room was worn and tired; you couldn't sit on the stained / worn furniture without putting a towel down, peeling wallpaper, scuffed furniture, worn carpet, etc. There's an additional parking charge which wasn't shown at booking. The internet is terrible for work purposes, although they do offer an "enhanced" service for an additional charge (they do like their additional charges which make the base rate look appealing). There isn't any USB charging, so bring a plug (this reflects the fact that the rooms haven't been updated since the hotel was built).

Just a quick stop on my way north to Maine from Philadelphia with the family. The accommodations were comfortable and suited us well. The free breakfast was good, better than most for sure.

Didn’t like that they charged for parking considering there was no place else to park in the remote are. Was ripped off by Expedia, who quoted me a one night fee of $345, then charged my card $519
