We thoroughly enjoyed staying two nights at Lightner Farmhouse. Easy check-in/out process, the property itself is beautiful and historic. The owners are great, friendly and have so much knowledge of the house and gettysburg to share! Not to mention the AMAZING breakfast! I highly recommend staying at the Lightner Farmhouse if you are visiting Gettysburg.

I can't say enough good about this property! The place is a beautiful bed & breakfast with so much history. Steve and Theresa were the best hosts! Steve knows a lot of history and is always willing to share! Theresa serves up some awesome breakfasts! Will definitely stay here again if back in Gettysburg!

This beautiful old farmhouse is removed from the congestion of downtown Gettysburg but just by a quick 5 minute car ride. The owners are extremely hospitable and knowledgeable of the farmhouse itself and the history of the area.They served a delightful breakfast each morning.I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

The first night the room was too hot because we did not not think about turning the heater off. I found the bed to be uncomfortable and had trouble sleeping. The hospitality was wonderful and breakfast was great. We learned a lot of Civil war history. We were surprised to find that the other couple staying there was from our hometown also.
