We just needed a place to sleep to cut a big drive in half, and the Super8 did just that. Staff was nice, room was ok, though it lacked a bit of love -- could have used a lamp on the second night stand, the breakfast was sad. But for the price, it delivered.

We had to stay 2 nights in Pembroke and thought we would try Super 8. There was stomping and extreme noise above us all night long. I’m not sure if they are renovating during the night or what, but it was constant loud noise. Neither my husband, our infant, or myself got a wink of sleep. I would highly recommend paying the additional $50 and staying at The Comfort Inn, they are phenomenal.

Accommodated our 45 minute early arrival. We thought going with a chain would be better. No one at the front desk, a little girl alerted what seemed to be her big sister that someone was here. The room smelled like mold and urine and a cooking spice. Bedside lights didn’t work because the plug was cut off. Overall dirty and run down. Unappealing bedspread colour, red. And dirty. Sorry but we were not happy leaving one dollars plus there.

There were Kaoud conversations heard through the walls late at night and the WiFi only works when you aren’t using an app. Otherwise it’s clean and the staff are very nice.

The cleanliness of the room was ok except checked mattress bottom underneath protective cover was stained and also found the breakfast to be all bread based and not a variety of selection leaving it on the down side.

A homeless lady right inside the property was asking money (anything to help her) from my wife. My wife got scared. When reported to the reception they said she is a frequent guest paid by someone and she has habit of asking money.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Bad odour in bathroom. Very noisy people above. two people in next room had a loud conversation ALL night. Bed and pillows were very uncomfortable.

The hotel is in the process of being updated. It’s a pretty basic hotel without bells or whistles, but it provided a clean, inexpensive place to stay for the night. The bathroom was updated, but the plug in there wasn’t working. The air conditioning system was a little complicated with the remote being in a foreign language. We couldn’t figure out how to adjust the temperature, so the room was warmer than our liking, but not the end of the world. It wasn’t bad enough to ask for help. Staff were friendly. For the price, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again if we were just looking for a place to sleep.

Linen and amenities only changed every other day. Bathtub had no anti-slip precautions when attempting to use the shower. was told to use a towel to prevent slipping.

My Mom and I stayed at the Super 8 Inn and found it relaxing and comforting while we were there in Pembroke visiting my daughter and her family. It was nice having access to everything we needed within walking distance of our car and our room.

Extremely dirty inside and out. Would not recommend. Inside is very dirty. Bathroom especially dirty and the whole place smells. Needs alot of work. Left feeling so dirty and gross. Beds are broken and very old. Time for some upgrades.

I travelled with family and our Furbaby.. Great experience and they provide cold/light breakfast in the morning, they have smart TV netflix which my kids loves as it is a rainy day when we visited pembroke, great wifi signal, surely recommend it for a low budget stay, we will booked again.
