It was a business trip. Overall it was good. Hot breakfast option were limited - only eggs. Thought there may be bacon, biscuits etc - it was the norm at other similar type hotel. The pool was closed for repairs - per front desk TWO years. That's silly - owner should get someone and get it fixed.

I was pleasantly surprised to get an upgrade just for asking. There weren’t many guests as the area doesn’t have snow to support the usual seasonal snowmobile tourists. When we went for breakfast the staff quickly offered to take our order if anything was running low. They had a bar, office essentials and our room had a space to host guests. Pool and hot tub were under repair.

It was right for the price. Needs some TLC. If you’re booking for pool/hot tub they are not in operation and seems to have been like this for quite some time. We booked due to having a bar- was not open. Breakfast left much to be desired

The drywall repairs and shower repairs were very unprofessional and left unpainted. Looks like a kid did the repairs. We took our granddaughter here for the pool and the pool was broken as well as the hot tub.

Pool and hot tub facilities were closed with rooms at full price ( always call to see if amenities are fully operational. Rooms we clean and staff were friendly but appeared understaffed, over worked and unappreciated by management. Seem to be par for the course. Holiday week so facility was quiet which was nice. We were 1 of 3 guests for 2 days

The only issue I had was that I wanted my room cleaned I stayed two nights. I told a lady at the front desk I wanted my room cleaned she wrote it down. And it was not done. The breakfast was ok.

I stayed 2 nights and enjoyed staying there. The tv wasnt working and someone came right away to get it working. The place was quiet and on outskirts of town. I will stay there again. The bed was too firm for me but thats the only down side.

The electrical outlets in the bathroom and the outer sink area all didn't work. Hard to use a blow dryer when it's attached to the wall in the sink area. Black mold in the bathroom vent and corners of the shower. No water pressure or hot water in the shower. Had to shower in an uncleaned room next to our room in the morning. (gross) They also say they have a pool and hot tub. Both haven't work in over 2 years. The only plus is they are close to the racetrack. But after 3 stays at this hotel, we are going to stay in Rhinelander and drive 25 miles instead for a much nicer/cleaner hotel stay. They also charge a very high rate for the racing weekend. Triple their regular rate!

A pool was one of our top priorities and arrived only to discover that the pool was out of commission. Upon checking more reviews than I originally did, it has been out of commission for some time but the web site indicates there is a pool. The male desk clerk disappeared as quickly as possible, leaving us to fend for ourselves to finally locate a luggage carrier to transport 4 pcs. of luggage. We were supposed to stay for several days, but someone set off a smoke detector on our floor, which set off the sprinkling system, and flooded the hallway as well as the lower level. So we had to vacate the premises. No one seemed to know where the main shut-off valve was located! But the room was clean and complimentary breakfast was satisfactory.

Hotel was flooded at check-in due to sprinkler system issues. Did not receive any type of notification from hotel before we arrived. Needed to find alternate accommodations at the last moment.

The hotel condition was poor. Weeds growing in flower beds, siding on the hotels was falling off in two spots. Pool/hot tub was closed, but looks like it was closed for awhile. They are in need of a maintenance guy!!
There is a nice bar in the lobby, but no one had a liquor license to serve us…..

The hotel was very dirty and the pools and bathroom were not in use. The manager was rude. This hotel used to be wonderful but it has not been well take care of.

Pool and hot tub was closed and there was a huge stain on sofa chair in room but besides that the room was really clean and front desk reception was super friendly!

Check in staff was super nice and the other staff throughout my stay was also. There's a nice outside area to hang out with a fire pit. Beds are super comfy.

The staff seemed distracted at times but was nice when I had their attention. The room was clean but not everything worked properly.

Brandon at the desk was unable to complete the registration process. Provided a room. The following morning he asked for my credit card. He ended up charging my credit card twice for the same night. I had to have several conversations with Orbitz to resolve. Finally, yesterday, July 26 the charge was reversed.

The management is running this place to the ground.. We had several issues with changing the room and etc.
The pool or hot tub is not working so we are paying extra money for things that don’t work

Staff wasn't too friendly or caring about my concerns or seemed like didn't want to help me. I was told when booked room had a working pool and hotub. Have a child that wanted to swim and was sad because when got here she couldn't and that's not right. They lie and say they do and will be working next day and still wasnt. Nice hotel otherwise but wont come back because of this issue most likely.
