The place is normally great but they’re renovating and some things are closed down. Yesterday the fitness center and laundry room were closed. I wanted to use both. Everything else was great.

Greedy! As simple as it sounds. This branch in Paseo Robles and its hotel management are just about greed. They just want the customers to suffer through dust, noise, heavy drilling and only care about making money.

We were on the first floor and there were several holes in the curtain. The bed was hard, and the bathroom door was painted sloppy with a different color than the rest.

This hotel was nice but not super nice. It was adequate. My complaints are few: TERRIBLE pull out sofa bed in the room and no coffee in the lobby. You could purchase at the in house Starbucks, but really? No plain old coffee?? What they got right - very clean and attractive hotel, counter staff very friendly and efficient. Fresh baked cookies at he front desk. My husband ate a dozen (I would prefer coffee) and very quiet atmosphere. No trafic noise or wild people goin up and down the halls. I would stay here again.

It was our first stay in this hotel as we traveled from Los Angeles to the SF Bay Area. We were pleased with the hotel location and quiet room. The room was roomy and comfortable. Perfect for a good night's sleep. All staff members were pleasant and accommodating regardless of the time of day. Easy freeway access too.

Right from the moment i walked in Ms. Goethe at the front desk greeted me with the warmest smile, very friendly and the most delicious cookies i had had all day, i trully enjoyed the stay at Paso Robles and will definitely be back

The ventilation in our room was horrible. It appears the vents connect to the nearby room. Such that any smells you would expect in a bathroom carried over to ours. Multiple times during our 2 night stay we found unpleasant odors wafting into our bathroom from the adjacent room. We ended up buying a Black Ice air freshener just to make it bearable. Further, the hot water in the shower was intermittent, some items weren’t restocked during the room service, and the lighting in the bathroom was straight out of an asylum…(admittedly me complaining about little things at this point). I would not recommend this hotel.

Easy to find, felt very safe, everyone very friendly. Only one problem, coffee pot did not work, no cups, no coffee, but we went to Starbucks in the lobby and the employees took care of us and they were great!

We liked that it was only 2 miles from the event we were attending. We didn't like was that our reservation stated that breakfast was included but when we asked about it we were told that it was for members only.

It was so nice to have daily housekeeping services here at this hotel. Many other major hotel chains at this level no longer offer that service. I will from now on stay at Marriot hotel properties on my future travels.

Upon arrival the hotel seemed promising the grounds were clean, the lobby was well kept and the check in was very easy. After check in we walked to the elevator and that’s where we started to notice this place was run down. The elevator was small, stinky and it took forever to come down. The carpet in the hallways is old and needs to be replaced. The room itself had chips of paint missing, gouges in the moulding, some of the lightbulbs were out which made the room very dark, the curtains had a bunch of holes in them and the curtains didn’t close. There was a few hairs in the bathroom which is a huge turn off especially when paying almost $400 for a one night stay. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable. When I called the front desk for more towels as they had only given us one body towel it took over and hour to receive the towels which I thought was ridiculous.
