Staff was very helpful. Room was clean. Breakfast was great with good healthy choices.

Its good they are renovating some of the areas. The place is a bit run down looking. It's also the first place where I ever had to complain that the water was too hot and you couldn't turn it down. We also had a maintenance issue, the toilet overflowed. My issue is that they didn't clean up the mess once that work was done.

There is an outside gated patio. Which made me feel safe outside while sitting outside.

Had higher expectations for Springhill but felt like a Comfort Inn

Our family of 5 stayed here for a Thanksgiving visit to see family. Our first room had stained carpets and couch, but otherwise clean. The next morning we found the shower didn’t work. Staff was very helpful and got us a new room. Similar level of cleanliness. In the new room, the doors weren’t level and were hard to close and tub bottom was very worn. Indoor pool is also “closed for maintenance”, but doesn’t appear to be a short term issue. This was a deciding factor in our stay so would have been nice to know.

Title: **A Nightmare Stay: Nothing Like the Advertised Pictures** I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at a hotel in Bossier that was far from what I expected based on the pictures provided online. My initial impression was that I had stumbled upon a practical joke, as the actual condition of the room bore no resemblance to the well-maintained spaces depicted in the pictures. It was a shocking disappointment. Upon entering the room, I was greeted by an atmosphere of deterioration and neglect. The bathroom, in particular, was a disaster. Loose tiles covered the floor, and I even had to take a video to document the extent of the disrepair. These tiles were so precarious that I could easily pick them off the floor. This level of neglect is not only unacceptable but also a safety hazard for guests. Furthermore, the door of the room was inoperable. It simply would not close, leaving me feeling vulnerable and unsafe throughout my stay. To ensure my security, I had no choice but to sleep close to the door, fearing that someone might attempt to enter the room during the night. What added to my frustration was the fact that the pictures provided during booking were not representative of the actual state of the hotel. The images portrayed an entirely different location, akin to the well-maintained hotels I've encountered in the Dallas area. However, this was not the case in Bossier. Pool was not open. We specifically made a reservation at a hotel that had a pool and were not made aware until checking in that it wasn’t available

Hotel was dirty

I waited in line to be checked in. An older lady was checking in with Jessica at the counter two other clerks were talking then a man walks in & they check him in despite me standing there. I didn’t make a big deal just continued to wait. Finally, checked in and found pieces of trash on the floor in the room, and the only washcloth that was in the room was on the floor. Aside from the things I’ve mentioned the room was spacious.

It was a little bit not what I expected. There were thick roaches that came out at night in my room. The front desk was great with refunding but I was very shocked

It was great right by the racetrack and casino indoor pool was awesome and open from 6-11 amazing place to stay

Only issue we had was the person across the hall had a dog. The afternoon we checked in we we’re trying to rest before dinner and the dog was constantly whining, crying and barking. After about an hour the owner returned to the room and he got quiet.

Ice machines not working on multiple floors. Front desk staff was friendly, but did take a long time to check in. Pricing was high for the area but overall a good stay

No hot water..no lights. Moved rooms because of leaking ceiling. Management knows that the entire hotel has no hot water. The whole hotel is nasty.

Beyond the control of the property, there was a power outage due to a storm earlier that day. I didn’t arrive until around 9pm for check-in, and wasn’t aware of the situation. Electricity for the night was limited. Fortunately, the room I was given was cool enough for my 1 night stay. My shower that night was fine, but the water for my morning shower was cold.

I will not ever stay at this place again. Room was disgusting, internet wouldnt work on tv, shower was not clean and doesnt regulate temperature. Pool area was not clean, no towels. Air conditioning was very loud and did not cool. Almost booked a room next door just to not have to stay.

Only stayed one night, but everything was great! Very grateful to have great people ready to help with family dinner recommendations to just getting extra towels. The lady doing the breakfast was very friendly and ready to get whatever you needed.

Only one complaint. Saturday night approximately 9 pm, we came back from dinner and the only working elevator out of two had overheated and shutdown. You could smell burnt rubber.

A/C was noicy and distracting. Bath room was not great. Toilet paper was on the other wall almost out of reach. On Sat had to ask 3 times before trash was picked up. And again on Sunday it was not picked up at all. Doubt if we will stay there again.

The parking lot is awful and I’m need of repair. Only one elevator worked and then it only worked half the time. The room had multiple signs of water damage to the ceiling and around the shower. Only one side of the king size bed had a power outlet or table/lamp. Only one entrance to the hotel from outside. Needs better lighting in the parking lot for safety at night.
