Aroa Beachside Resort

I really enjoyed my Stay at Aroa Beach inn such a diamond in the rough wasn’t to far from town and airport I had a deluxe studio on the second floor over looking the ocean pool and Ship wreck bar prime location even my friends that stayed in other locations on the island wished they stay here they had snorkeling and kayaking gear with helmets and life jacket there was enough parking for small cars and scooters all staff was helpful rooms cleaned daily they even rake the sand n pick up lose leafs on the beach every morning nice cold beer n great food at the bar you can sit at any table awesome view of the ocean I’ll be back for sure thank you staff n crew for the experience of a life time

Staff were helpful, efficient, and did everything with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Would not hesitate to recommend this resort

This resort is in an ideal place with all rooms having an ocean view. The shipwreck hut bar and restaurant on site is a great bonus. The staff on site were excellent. The rooms and some of the site facilities could so with a bit of an upgrade but overall it was an excellent place to stay and the cost was very reasonable. We would definately stay there again in the future.

If your idea of a great holiday is being at the bar all day and listening to beats at the beach this place would be good for you, but if you are looking for relaxing or an adults only environment go somewhere else. This is best described as a well attended family bar with some accommodation attached. Expect music to play from late morning to 9 pm which can be heard through the rooms even with the doors closed. Its particularly loud when they have a band (several nights a week) - don't expect to be able to watch TV or read a book in your room on those nights loud. A lot of people and families come in for the bar all day everyday which is in the middle of everything. This is a good location to do activities on the west coast and is on the bus route. Snorkeling off the beach is reasonable. There are several food options a short walk away and a grocery store about 10 min walk south on the main road. The food on site is very nice but not always filling, you will need to order early (e.g by 5:30pm as there are often large crowds and long lines to order food at the bar). The rooms have full kitchen through.
