Lagoon Breeze Villas

Situated in a lovely well laid out property in the South Western area of the island. 11 km from the main town. Quiet and peaceful,except for the Roosters!! Breakfast is great with a good selection of cereals, fruits and juices, breads, for toasting, plus.tea or coffee. A pool on site and a nice beach across the road. Kayaks and snorkeling gear are available free of charge. I,as a non driver, rented an E Bike and used busses and the occasional taxi which worked OK. However a car or scooter would be more convenient. Vicki and Naomi in the office were great. Always cheerful, friendly and helpful. As we're the grounds team and the villa servicing team. We stayed for a week at the Lagoon Breeze Villas, it was very comfortable and the staff were lovely. It’s not on the beach but it’s only across the road. It has a lovely pool. It’s a great place to stay for families.

Very relaxing place to stay. Nicely appointed villas that were well situated for privacy and space in very nice grounds. Rooms were soundproof from neighbouring unit. But was busy and quite noisy outside at times with lots of kids and family groups. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Great snorkelling from the beach across the road, although there is a strong current there - wear flippers! Easy to get around the corner to snorkel outside the Rarotongan. Breakfast was lovely and there were cocktails available late afternoon most days, so that was an unexpected bonus. You’ll need a car or scooter as there are no places for meals within easy walking distance. Would definitely stay here again, as great value for money compared to the bigger resorts.

We stayed as a couple and I could see that it would suit a family very well also. Plenty of room in our villa, generous supplies such as milk, tea, coffee, soaps, shampoo, toilet paper etc. Lovely breakfast of fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal & toast in the open air cafe which is situated right next to play area for kids, handy for families. Staff so friendly and helpful. There is a small bakery and takeaway/cafe within walking distance but closest bar or restaurant would be 2km away. I would advise first timers to Cooke Islands to pre book your own transport. (you really need it!) The villas are well equipped for self catering if you choose to do that. Safe snorkelling just across the road with shallow waters and plenty of colorful fish. Lagoon Breeze also had reef shoes, snorkels, masks and fins to borrow which was great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lagoon Breeze Villas!
