Our vacation was a drive down the Organ Coast starting from Canon Beach down to border of Organ and California. The hotels we stayed in along the Coast were older and a bit dated. This hotel was a bit dated, sheets and towels were clean and the room seemed clean, but with a little bit of mold along the tubs edging as well as problems with the shower. When trying to get the shower going, both the shower and tub faucet would come on at the same time, but after a couple tries it finally worked. My boyfriend has back and neck problems so bed and pillows were not comfortable for him. We arrived late to the hotel but called to advise we would be in late, and the keys were supposed to be left for us, but employee forgot to leave the keys. There was a number to call and employee did show up quickly to give us the keys and let us into the hotel room.

The staff were friendly. Room had carpet from the 70's and smelled. Light show doesnt happen anymore. They could go a long ways with replacing carpet and use more lughts to get to beach. The doors didnt close well.

Bed was very comfortable. Room- furnishings, carpet older. Staff very friendly but professional. Breakfast to go was high sugar but very tasty. $120/night good value for ocean-front view.

We went for a romantic getaway for Valentines Day. While the service at the front desk was not bad, everything went downhill from there. The carpet was worn and had big stains, disgusting. The room could have been really nice. We stayed in the condo suite which had high ceilings. There were no pictures on the walls, absolutely zero personality. The coffee maker in the room was broken…We stayed the two nights we had booked but I wanted to leave and find something else. The light show??? There were colored spot lights but I sure wouldn’t call it a show. Disappointed!!!

I love this motel. They have wonderful rooms with terrific views from most. The carpet is really starting to get worn in the upstairs rooms. It’s at the beach so it should never have had carpet in the first place. There lighting should be updated. The lighting is terrible in the rooms. Short walk to the beach if the weather is good enough. They should have more rooms that are pet friendly. It is also time to update the mattresses. Furniture is nice except for the bed frames. Watch your knees and shins! Staff is super nice. Love the location. Bathrooms are nice and clean.

First off, what attracted us was the lightshow/movie. Staff told us it was broken and had been for a few months. Second, the tiny wall heater doesnt put out enough heat to warm a room with very high ceilings. I went to the office to get a space heater but it was already loaned out, so they offered an extra blanket. I eventually had them turn the heat on full blast in the vacant unit below us, which did nothing. It was so chilled in the room that neither of us showered because the bathroom was on the other side of the room from the tiny wall heater. Third, was the breakfast, a tiny bottle of water, a tiny container of juice, an old muffin and a small granola bar. They probably spent more on the paper bag they put it in. The icing on the cake was the mattress was like sleeping in a bowl. Overall, this was not a nice stay.

Could use a little bit of updating - otherwise a great place to stay. Clean and beautiful views. Friendly staff. Loved sitting in the rocking chairs listening to the surf drinking wine and enjoying the light show. Lots of fun and would definitely stay again!
