Mo is an amazing host who looks after you from the minute you walk in the door! He is welcoming and very helpful and does everything he can to make you feel comfortable. The room was spacious and well equipped but most importantly it was really clean. When we checked in at 11am, Mo made sure that within an hour our room was ready which made our stay more relaxed. We paid just £5 for permitted on-street parking which was reasonable. I would happily stay here again and would do just for how excellent the hosting was!

A fabulous place to stay in York. So close to everything that we walked everywhere. Our room was lovely with a great view of the pretty neighbourhood. Mo was an exceptional and welcoming host. Highly recommend 😃

Staying at Crescent Guest House feels like staying over at a friends’. Mo is welcoming, kind, and so gracious and helpful. He talked me through the best ways to get around town, and even gave me an annotated map. The room was well kept and tidy, and you can tell the house is well cared for. Definitely worth a stay if you’re ever in York!

What a lovely little quaint guest house. Slightly quirky, sloping floors and creaky floor boards, but a great place to stay, very close to the city centre.
Would highly recommend. No meals included, but there’s a large fridge to store your food and plenty of tea, coffee and milk.
