This is a very budget Motel (note Motel, not Hotel) and if all you are looking for is a pseudo clean, zero frills, low cost place to stay it may be fine for your needs. It was "clean" in regards to general housekeeping and upkeep but I would have been afraid to pull off the matress cover to see what the matress was like, etc. I could see inside the pillow cases enough to know the pillows were at least lightly stained but thank god for pillow covers. When I checked in to the room the TV didn't work as the rear cabling and power cord were pulled out or never put back in but I am tech enough that I was able to figure out and get it working. The "closet" in room was a single hanger on a rod next to the TV but to their credit there was an ironing board and iron. There is no in room DIY coffee of any kind and lobby is tiny with no breakfast or snacks, etc. so don't expect anything there. There is no real walkable "neighborhood" unless the dive bar / burger joint and the adult book/video store next door serve your needs. Internet Wifi was free but at most times the speeds were terrible and there was no option to upgrade to a higher service. To make things worse if you have AT&T as cellular service the reception was 1-bar for much of the lot and in room.

The room was okay, the mattress was old and disgustingly stained, the shower was terrible because it wasn’t working properly. The toilet had the water turned off so I had to turn it on. I also had to install the shower rod plus shower curtain. Most things looked nice from the outside but once I got a closer looks things turned ugly really quick

As the other reviews say, it's a great place, great condition and with very friendly staff and management. It's also within a 15 or 20 minute walk of restaurants and stores, and there's a hamburger restaurant right next door.

Room was big but didn’t have a lot of places to put things. Bed was in a wooden platform and a little hard to get in without smacking your leg or knee on the wood. Bed was hard. Bathroom counter was small. Sounds like a lot of bad things but it still worked for us.

Upstairs neighbor was very loud too much stomping. Towels were horrible and look very old. Reception was rude when asked for assistance with the loud stomping complaint.

Pros: friendly staff, clean room, fridge, microwave, good location, comfortable beds. Cons: Kinda noisy outside (cars parking) but that’s to be expected at a motel. Remote/Tv didn’t work too well but we were just there to sleep. Overall: Great place to stay for the night. It was very close to many attractions.

I would give this place a 9.5/10. Everything was great, especially the bed and lighting around it. Only problem for me is walking bearfoot because the ground was dirty like if it wasnt mopped in a while.

I love the cleanliness of the room, especially the huge bathroom. I also love how the lights around the frame of the bed activate with motion sensors. It has a luxury feel for bargain prices. I’d definitely stay here again!

Pretty little gem in Escondido. The room was super clean, the appliances looked like new and the fridge and A/C were very silent. I really enjoyed my stay here.

We had a great stay here. We would have liked to have had coffee in the room, but we went to get it in the office in our pajamas and no one laughed. It was easy to find and quiet. Our only complaint was that the person above us was stomping around and it sounded like moving furniture until about 12:30am. If possible, request an upstairs room, but we would stay here again if in the area.

I absolutely loved this hotel! The outside is very standard, kinda boring. But the room was BEAUTIFUL!!! I loved literally everything about it! 100% I will try to stay here every single time I come to the area. Also the employees were super polite.

Motel was decent. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean. Very good water pressure in shower compared to many other small hotels. Conveniently located from a big mall with lots of restaurants.

This was our 2nd stay at this property. The interior rooms are modern, clean, and all the electric appliances work. The exterior is also very tidy and inviting. There is a good burger place nearby. The property is fairy quiet as well.
