I Drag race at Gainesville Racetrack and stay at best western. It’s only12 miles from the track. Best western staff has always treated me well and rooms are clean.

It was clean, quiet. Hotel staff friendly & helpful. Couldn't figure out how to use the soap dispenser in the shower though.Fortunately I brought my own along

The hotel seems updated. However, the room was SOOO humid and had a very odd dampy smell. There was some type of machine in the corner of the room (i assume to measure the humidity)- but it was not a humidifier. The bathroom needed to be cleaned- especially the toilet.

Always stay at the Best Western, when we r in town for family functions. Great service, great food and comfortable beds

We stayed for one night. Everything was clean, or so I thought. After showering in the morning, I found what looked to be a smear of feces on side of the cover on the toilet tank.
The pillows were way too soft.

Good night's sleep. Clean and quiet. Unfortunately for us though, we got to breakfast after what must have been several bus loads of people because most everything was gone. There were some instant grits and boxed cereal left. We had to ask for hot water though, because that was also gone. It may not be the hotel's fault entirely if a horde of people eat everything like locust running through a field. I'd recommend getting to breakfast as soon as they open if that's a highlight of your stay. Otherwise, this was a good hotel.

This is a very good hotel. I rate it 5 star even though had a lot of trouble with extending our stay one more day. After phone call and three different staff working on it, problem was solved and that’s the important part, problem solved.

The property smelled damp and moldy upon entering the building. Once in my room the linens had hairs that didn’t belong to me or my child. All the soft surfaces were damp and mold was noticed between behind the glass of a picture frame.

It's location. An easy drive to Gainesville and it's proximity to the antique mall. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Room was very musty. The carpet felt wet. Pretty sure it only looked clean. I would say you shouldn't leave black footprints on the shower floor if the carpet is clean. Couldn't get the humidity down. Hotel was adequate. Breakfast was a bonus. Coffee was good.

Constance at the front desk greeted us very warmly (it was 2:00am) and helped us get settled. Great stay for a Florida Gators weekend gameday. The breakfast was awesome as well. Clean and comfortable.

Hotel was out of supplies for our room and seemed out of sorts. They didn’t really seem to know what was going on and gave us the keys to an occupied room which was very awkward after we had a problem with our initial room (that we ended up staying in after the fact).

We went up for a funeral and it was the only motel in the area we wanted to stay.
My wife was a little worried about the condition it would be in. To our surprise it was such a nice motel. Very clean, comfortable and up to date. The staff was very friendly and helpful with the info we needed.
Oh and the complementary breakfast was a big plus too.

The best things about the hotel was the amazing front desk staff and support staff. Also the hot breakfast was delicious

Room was updated and very comfortable except for the sleeper sofa. Mediocre but free breakfast that had lots of options to begin the day.
Location in Waldo was right on 301 and convenient to get on your way. Dunkin’ Donuts and a gas station are attached to the parking lot.
If you need lots of restaurants nearby, this is not the place. Looking for a place to sleep that’s clean, comfortable and some breakfast in the morning, this place works great.

I really like the staff that they were very nice and I also really like the room it was very clean. The only problem is that there's nothing to Waldo, except for truckstop to be able to get the items that you needed.

For those wondering the breakfast area has eggs, waffles, fruit, sausage, toast, muffins, assorted pastries, and these amazing Cinnabon waffles.
The property inside was GREAT, staff was very kind, facilities clean, breakfast was great, but we woke up and a car in the lot was on cinder blocks with both front tires missing. Not the hotels fault, but for those who book the hotel park up against the property on the side of the building not toward the front especially if you have a rental. Outside of the hotel was nice, but can be loud at night because of the gas station and highway.

Pretty decent. Check in was great. Room was a little muggy. We kicked on the AC lower and it got better. Comfy place. We stopped on the way through to rest.
