Even though it’s off 101, it was quiet at night. Neither of us heard any traffic. It is also located close to an excellent Thai restaurant we drove to.

Wild Rivers Lodge is an older motel that has been thoroughly upgraded with very clean and comfortable rooms. The price for the nightly stay is very reasonable and the staff are super friendly with lots of suggestions of things to do and places to eat. We will stay there again when we need to come to Brookings.

Was a great place to stay ... it seems small and tucked away.. but looks are deceiving its really nice hotel if staying in Brookings ..great location a quick car ride to explore the area even quick walk to gift shops..restaurants and more.. would stay there again with the Family

Room appeared clean but floor felt very slippery as if too much cleaner was used annd could see streaks on floor from it being mopped and had a strong cleaner or air freshener scent to it.

I like a softer bed, have old hips and sleep on my side. I don't fault the motel for this as their mattress was find for most. Check in was easy and pleasant.

Check in was easy. Didn’t realize there would be a pet fee (must have overlooked that in my paperwork) but it was only $20 so not too bad. Room was nice. Smelled good. A little dirty in the corners but you tend to get that anywhere with lots of sand 😊 Bed was soft, pillows were hard but overall it was a great stay. For the price would definitely stay again.

Stayed and paid the additional cleaning fee extra for a pet friendly room - Unfortunately at our arrival the floor was so filthy that it stained my new white socks black on the soles … sadly very very dirty … sheets were mostly clean - only a few hairs and dust I think - they smelled clean/ bleached ( thankfully) but just super disappointed that the floor and table were so gross. Won’t stay again :(

This hotel is utter trash. It's FILTH. I don't think they have ever mopped the floors, and there is literally dust and dirt all over the place. I wish I had thought to take photos of how bad it was. The bed felt like there was sand in it. I cannot believe the price I was charged for this stay. They claim to be "pet friendly" but have NO pet area whatsoever. They tell you to take your dog in the weeds at the gas station next door. Stay at your own risk--this place was very gross.

The Property accepted dogs, which was necessary once I learned earlier in the week that we'd be taking our Golden Retriever home from my son's college after his graduation. Wasn't expecting a 5 star experience, but we had loud, noisy, and F Bomb dropping screaming in and out of the room next door. Around 11:00 pm on the night we stayed, someone called the police and one of the screamers left, and the other calmed down. Not the most pleasant of experiences.

The person at the front counter was very helpful. Updated me to a bigger room at no extra cost. My fire alarm was beeping due to a low battery. He came over and changed the battery within 3 minutes.

Terrible stay! Room 119 had a lot of mold. Sheets were old and wore out. Shower was so dirty we did not even use it. Also no air conditioning. It was very stuffy and hot! Miserable night. I notified them and they just said sorry. We were only there till 5 am because we had to get on a charter boat.

I stayed one night while on a motorcycle trip up the coast. My room was clean and quiet, check-in went smoothly, and the motel is within easy walking distance of several restaurants. Highly recommended!

Our stay was last minute while driving up the coast. We were arriving late. The front desk woman was very accommodating and made it super easy to check in. We were in and out but will definitely make this a stop again. Thank you!

Rented seven rooms. Two had bad odors and Could not be used. Manager would not refund the Cost of the unused rooms. Office staff is unavailable 8 pm to 8 am. Bad vibe.

The staff was excellent upon check in and check out. The room we had did not have air conditioning, which made it hot and muggy. The web site says they all have air conditioning. The floor was so dirty our feet turned black. There was black mold on the grout in the shower. There was no enforcement of the 10pm to 8am quiet time. We had really loud neighbors that were up partying outside our door until we finally had enough at 1:00am and asked them to be quite. We did not feel safe as they were very upset. The next morning we opened our front window to get some fresh air in the hot room and our neighbors decided to camp out in front of our door/window again and smoke. The smoke filtered into our room so we had to shut the window. Aside from the neighbors and lack of enforcement of motel rules the facility could at least clean the floors and get rid of the mold in the bathroom. We won't be staying there again.
